(Big Bird, Bert and Ernie are all sitting around the table waiting for breakfast, Bryan is in the kitchen area cooking)
Big Bird: No cookies? But they're his favorite!
Ernie: Yeah, are you sure this is gonna work?
Bryan: I dunno, but it's worth a shot. It's for his own good.
Bert: Bryan's right. Cookie Monster needs discipline. He was way out of control.
Cookie: (comes out of his room) Hi.
Bryan: Good morning, Cookie Monster.
Big Bird: Hi, Cookie! You can sit right here next to me.
Bryan: I hope you're hungry.
Cookie: Oh, what we having?
Big Bird: Well, I'm having Birdseed Krispies. It's my favorite cereal. (pours cereal in a bowl. (I pour the milk for him)
Cookie: Hmm...interesting.
Bert: Bryan, is my oatmeal ready?
Bryan: Coming right up!
Bert: I love my oatmeal. It sticks to your ribs! Eh-eh-eh-eh!
Cookie: Oatmeal?
Bert: Yeah, you should try it.
Ernie: Oatmeal, Bert? No way. Cookie Monster, waffles are faaar tastier than any oatmeal.
Cookie: Oooh!
Bryan: No, cookie. You're not getting waffles.
Cookie: No? What me get? Soft boiled cookie, right? Or maybe fried cookie? Yeah yeah yeah!
Bryan: No cookies, remember?
Cookie: Oh yeah.
Bryan: But I have something else that you just might like that's a great breakfast food.
Cookie: What is it?
Bryan: A bowl of fresh fruit and buttered toast. (puts it on the table in front of him)
Cookie: Fruit? Any chocolate covered strawberry?
Bryan: Nope. Just straight fruit (giggles to himself at the weird oxy-moron he just made up) Anyway...eat up!
Cookie: Me have to eat this?
Bryan: Unless you'd rather have Birdseed Krispies.
Ernie: You should try it, Cookie Monster. You might like it.
Bert: Yeah, fruit is good for you. (puts some raisins and bananas in his oatmeal)
Cookie: (scrunches up face and does his best to try the fruit)
