As far as online dating goes, I believe that a person has to use their own judgement and common sense. Sure, I have heard some terrible stories resulting from online dating, but I also have heard stories of great longlasting relationships that started that way. I believe the majority of people in the world are good and honest, and the internet is just one more way of potentially meeting someone, no different from any other.
I do think though that personal meetings and conversations are necessary, and a relationship can not just be based on the internet alone.

Very well said! I mean I had two brief, but great relationships that originally initiated from online, so it definately has potential. People really need to use that foresight/spideysense to vet a person before growing close to em or letting them into their lives.

Again, for the more "unique" people like most of us on here, sometimes online is the only we can possibly meet someone like us.

I think we're lucky here...because for the most part, we stay mostly spammer and hater free here. That's good. I think most of us are truthful....although I do think Phil is secretly a member of CIA........
Naw, Phil is too full of Muppety kind hearted goodness to be a member of the world's most dangerous terrorist organization. Tho I heard he once was a spokeperson for Subway sandwiches back in the 90's:smile:

I don't believe in long distance relationships. I mean I wish I did sometimes, but I don't really.

Neither do I really. I mean, I don't believe I could ever get involved with someone that I had no or little chance of meeting in real life.
Justin, you bring up a good point that I didn't even think of! When you're a weirdo like us, normal doesn't really work, so you have to find an alternative!

Why is it most Muppet fans on here, historicly through the last few years or so, never have any luck finding anyone accept for a tiny few. Heck, a vast majority of people never even had a first gf/bf or a date. I think, because were unqiue folks in a not very uniquely minded world.

I believe in em, so long as they turn into real life romances:smile:

Well that's the point, ya do eventually meet the person...and hopefully, if ya guys really opened up yourselves on the phone, ya should click in person.
I present myself as the same warm, open minded, zany, soulful, and unique person on the phone as I am in person. Typed words on a forum or chat, its really hard to express one's true self.
