Seriously, a lot of people say one shouldn't "date" or find a "soulmate" through the internet because the one you may have fallen for could very well be lying about his or herself. Dr. Phil just a whole show about just that and he had a few ladies who fell in love with men online and discovered the men they fell love with were fake were spammers.

I was involved Online with a guy from another site.We had been chatting on Yahoo messenger for a good year,I'd say.
Guess what? He had 20 "girlfriends" Online! And how did I find this out? His fiancee Offline! She told me all this after he was killed in a car accident (I saw his obituary in an article Online,so I knew that that wasn't fake. )

Oh my Katzi, that's dreadfull...I've heard my share of scare-stories, but I do think that (if not couples) true friends can be made online becuase people look at the inside not the outside.

I think we're lucky here...because for the most part, we stay mostly spammer and hater free here. That's good. I think most of us are truthful....although I do think Phil is secretly a member of CIA........
