Beige: (opening envelope) Gee, now I wonder what this could be?
Scooter: (running out of room) Hand it over, Beige, that's mine!
Storyteller: (in hut, nursing a headache) Scooter, don't yell so loudly. Beige, just give him the envelope.
Scooter: (opens envelope) Whoa...
Beige: Wow, you look like a film director's nightmare.
Scooter: Gee, thanks.

(Erin and Nora walk in.)

Erin: So, busy day at the shop?
Nora: Don't you know it - ever since "Prince" came out, we've been working double time to keep copies on the shelf.
Erin: At least it's Harry Potter, and not that other series we won't mention...what's that, Scooter, your haunting image?
Scooter: Yeah, have a look.
Nora: Wow...you look so surreal and ghostly and flickery.

 

[The Count]

*Headed off to the pool, passes Beth and Red, whips playfully with my towel, then continues past them.

Mmm,a day of relaxin' poolside. Wonder if anyone else will show. *Hums some vague melody.

Kelly (trying to drag Chamberlain out of her room to the pool): C'mon! It'll do you some good!

Chamberlain: NO!

Pearl (is working at the saloon)

Spamela, Zoot, Mr. Panda (asleep in Kelly's room)

Hoggle (taking care of goblin stuff at the Bog)

Kelly (rolls eyes, goes to the pool alone): Oh, hi, Ed!

 

[The Count]

Kelly! *Hugs. So... Couldn't drag any of Ailie's crew out here huh? Maybe if we chase 'em with our watery ammunition...

 

[RedPiggy]

Kelly: Nah. I hate the smell of wet Skeksis in the morning -- er, afternoon. *laughs, cannonballs into the pool*

Meh, they'll show up I guess... Eventually. *Grabs innertube and slinks down the water slide.

*Ed's been awake since 3:30 AM cause he couldn't sleep. Been banning spambots and listening to MCR on a cool Friday weekend morning. *Count sets a pot of coffee with bat's milk while Uncle D sets out English muffins and toasted bagels with cream cheese for others.

Kelly (been awake since ... since ... I forgot)

No worries. *Huggles dear Kelly. *Leaves for a nap, I rully need one.

(gang is on a train pulling into Nelson Square station)

Intercom: This is Hensonville, Nelson Square station. Please watch your step on leaving the train and make sure you have all your personal belongings with you.

Scooter: All right, all change, end of the line and all that.
Storyteller: The train was really mobbed on the way out, wasn't it?
Erin: Like a sardine tin with leatherette seats and so-so air conditioning.
Beige: Now, down in the Cave...no, wait, how about we have dinner and then I'll tell that story.
Nora: How about House of the Rising Dim Sum? I've been craving their fried wontons for the last half hour.

(Gang exits the station and heads off in search of fried wontons, pot stickers and other edibles.)
