*Sighing contentedly.
Count: Everything all fright?
Me: Yep... Finished those two blocks of TMS, up to Kermit and the K's.
Gonna lie down for a little bit, not feeling so hot at the moment (so I know that's an oxymoron given the time of year), wake me if there's some news or hubbub going on I should know about.
Count: Sure thing my fiend.

Kelly (reading the newspaper -- yes, some people still do that )

Cotterpin: GAH!

Hoggle (looks up from napping on the sofa): What is it?

Cotterpin: This stupid thing-a-ma-bob won't what's-its!

Kelly: O_O *giggles*

Pearl (wasn't there to hear it)

Hoggle: O_O *walks over to Cotterpin* Ah, THERE'S yer problem ... the thing-a-ma-bob has to be sets ta "widget".

Cotterpin (stares at it, whatever it is, and then nods): Yep, you're right. *grins* Thanks, Hoggle, you're the best!

 

[The Count]

Languidly lying on the sofa in our main room, mostly napping a bit.
Uncle D skulks out to see if any fics have been updated.
Count looks at his board, then pats the list book of Ed's. Needs help with the Merry Men, but can wait a while.
*Dials friends to see if anyone would be up for a group dinner tomorrow night at Everybody Eats.

Pearl (answering phone, laughing): Hon, you don't gotta ask twice -- COURSE we'll come along!

Kelly (nods): I'll be more than happy to ... after I research something or other. Something about Merry Maids or something.

 

[The Count]

Count, on phone... Got it thanks.

After some late lunch, working on finishing something fer my main numbers man.
*Looking forward to tomorrow night.
*Count calls others on the phone to check with them.

Kelly (finishes up researching Happy Males or Merry Men or whatever): O_O

*Finishing up... *Hands new square card drawing received from the unnamed illustrator to the Count.
Count: Oh! #75... She, well, she reminds me of Cruella with a dash of Gabore.
Yep, that's what I was aiming for.

*The vampire tacks the card onto his board in its place.
So that's three squares or half of what I've tentatively lined up for you... Now to focus on that dratted list project.
*Settles in for some Thursday night TV time.

Kelly (nods): If I had that power, God help us all.

Hoggle (rolls his eyes)

Pearl: What's itchin' your britches, Hoggle?

Hoggle: Ya opens a book and magical stuff happens ... NAH, never heard of THAT happenin' before.

Kelly (nods): Yeah, I couldn't help but think of how Sarah would --.

Hoggle: Don't mention that name!
