The entire room is filled with burning candles. Michael Jackson's HIStorys/greatest hits is playing. Alex sits in the middle of the floor, petting the head of a cardboard cut-out of Michael Jackson.

Rizzo: *begins playing a tune on the piano*

Sweetums: *wearing a flowing, white silk shirt and a black fedora*

Uncle D is reverently at the poster of his hero in his subroom, waiting for the speech, and the laugh... The laugh... With just a tiny tear in his eye.

Huh, thought Rizzo was with Prawny this term. Oh well, it's a musical number Alex's performing, no harm there.
*Gets back to work, putting a hand up to the edge of a new poster, the one of FF, yes that one. The nice thing about marquis-board posters is some can be taken down and replaced over and over. The one of Farrah has—at least for the day—taken the place of Skelly's.

Hmm, almost feel like hearing Candle in the Wind today. We lost three of the biggies this week.

Cotterpin (driving up): We got an invitation to go?

Pearl (standing in front of a pile of costumes): Just lemme find somethin' decent ta wear, darlin's!

Kelly (nods): Yeah ... *winks* and since you're a prince -- LOL, rhyme -- we'll let you pay for it.

Well, it's not till later tonight, so you have some time to get ready. ;() *Having trouble with typing the Scooter smilie.

Pearl (to Ed): Oh, never you mind sweet little ol' me ... I'm a high-maintenance gal ... it'll take hours ta get ready.

Reckon so... At any rate, our table's booked for 9 PM. Got the usual special for the dorms' party. Hope more of the crowd eventually shows up.

*Whispering to Kelly, BTW: What would make a good b-day present for Hoggle?

Kelly (whispers back): This is a guy who'd go all ga-ga over Fisher Price jewelry. He can be impressed by any little ol' thing. Try claw machines or the Dollar Store or As Seen On TV stuff.

Cotterpin (whispers): I don't think that'll work.

Kelly: Who asked you?

Cotterpin: He liked Sarah's cheap bracelet, right?

Kelly: Right.

Cotterpin: Did you see his face when she gave an expensive ring to the Wiseman?

Kelly: Uh ... yeah ...

Cotterpin (nods): He HAS taste, it's just rare for someone to give him something that isn't cheap. He only went with the plastic stuff because he'd never seen it before.

Kelly: Well, there's lots of stuff he hasn't seen before. What I say still stands.

Hmm... Okaaaay then. *Thinks, has an idea. Will see if I can find it tomorrow, need to buy a wedding present for Sara too. That's the one who started the Richard Hunt club. Well, thanks again, see you later.
