Announcement.

Hello from the MC Dorms management team. As of today, Tony "Slug" is no longer part of our community here at MC nor the dorms. He made a personal request and it has been honored. His room and roommates have been vacated, made available once again for anyone interested. Please don't post anything about his departure, as we don't think it appropriate for that kind of talk after someone's gone and isn't able to respond/reply.

Thank you for understanding during this trying time.

Hmmm... Things are way too quiet around here. Where is everybody anyway? *Heads over to the pool for an afternoon wading.

Pearl (is at Scorched and Snowed auditioning acts)

Cotterpin (is at Doozer Dome trying to figure out how to make a loop-de-loop)

Hoggle (is asleep)

Kelly (is nursing a bitten ear)

*Uncle D drops off the latest addition at Room #7 for approval.

Count tacks up the illustration square.

Ed has zonked out on the couch for a while.

Kelly (puts band-aid on ear, calls Cait and Ailie): Hey, wanna go head out somewhere? I have a need to boogie!

(Nora's just received the haunter picture from Uncle Deadly.)

Nora: Thanks, Deadly. (studying picture) I look like Helena Bonham Carter.
Beige: (passing by) Evening, silly creatures...(spots picture) Ooh la la...
Storyteller: (warning tone) Beige...(to Nora) You look positively wonderful, dear - just like Lucia di Lammermoor.
Erin: Except that Lucy went mad toward the end and...well, you know.
Nora: (chuckle) I don't think my haunter would do stuff like that. (goes to phone) Hi, Ed, we got the picture - it's really nice!
Scooter: (lounging on sofa with guitar) I'm looking through you...where did you go...

 

[The Count]

*On phone: Glad to hear it. Others before him, but wait till I get to Scooter. Got plans for more roomies/Muppets, working on a 1 by 1 basis you know.
Count: Mmm, I remember Lucy fondly. She did know how to keep counting her beaus.
Uncle D: Shame we can't bring her back.

*Thinking of something, evil grinned idea, jots it down for later.

*Finishes call and hangs up.

*Bats bring in dinner, some cups of cold cole slaw and sauced up boneless ribs.
*UD and I get the glasses and iced tea.

Pearl (comes in): Whew! That was a tough first day.

Kelly: How's the saloon comin' along?

Pearl: Got all the electrical worked out and posted the menus at each table an' at the bar. You shoulda been there, hon.

Kelly (shrugs): I called Cait an' Ailie to see if they wanted to come, but I guess not. I just got their answering machine, so I hung up. *starts playing video games* I guess they're busy or something. We were thinking of having a party to celebrate.

Pearl: Celebrate what?

Kelly: Life. Freedom. Happiness. All that awesome stuff. *shrugs* I don't want to delve too deeply, though. I don't want to sound bitter about some things.

Pearl (laughs, rolls her eyes): Naturally.

 

[RedPiggy]

Kelly (motions to Pearl): C'mon, Pearl. I wanna go play cards at the saloon.

Pearl (sighs): I just got back home. Can't we play cards here?

Kelly (thinks for a bit): What about karaoke?

Pearl (points to her stage over at the other end of their room)

Kelly (snaps): They don't serve old grape juice here.

Pearl (raises eyebrow)

Kelly (walks out): I wanna get something to eat and drink some old grape juice. *jumps in car and goes to Scorched and Snowed*

Alex and the gang all sit in front of the television, drinking bottles of root beer and watching old WWF videos.

Sweetums: Whoa... would ya look at what he just did?

Link: *eating a buffalo wing* Hmph, I've seen better.

Alex: *staring at the screen dreamily* Yeah.... he's impressive....

Link: *quietly to Sweetums* Hey, does she hafta watch it with us?

Sweetums: Hey, take it easy. Besides, she's the one who asked us to watch it with her. AND she payed for the root beer and buffalo wings....

Alex: Fellas, do you think I would've had a chance with Andre if he was alive?

Link: *rolls his eyes and grabs another wing*

Sweetums: *pretends not to hear her*

Animal: YAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! *body slams everyone on the couch*
