Ice Age: Blue Sky's Answer to Shrek?

Am I the only one who doesn’t feel bad about this?
I mean, besides the Peanuts Movie, I never really cared for Blue Sky. I felt their other movies were OK at best, and Ice Age 5 at worst.
The rest of my family seems to like them, though. Wonder how I’ll break the news…

Nah.

I agree with you though; THE PEANUTS MOVIE was one of the most respectful and faithful modern adaptations of a classic property I've seen in a long time, and ICE AGE aside (I liked the first one, don't care for the sequels), their movies are pretty forgettable.

I personally thought they actually made some good movies. The only ones I didn’t really care for much were the Ice Age movies, but otherwise, I’m sad to hear it closed.

I mean, yeah it’s sad that it had to close (including canceling an unfinished project), but at least it means no more pointless Ice Age sequels.

He’s not wrong. I mean animating is a freelance job, and they basically lost their source of income.

Sadly, this isn't even the first time Disney has laid off a bunch of employees at once.
