Yes, that's right!!!! Just this past Saturday, we bought 2 dozen chicks, 6 Americanas, (they have STRIPES)
If you look closely you'll see that the Americanas have stars and stripes.

 :attitude:

Cool, though, chickens are fun.

And they ARE willing to become pets. So if you're going to eat them . . . you may not want to get to know them that well.

The POWER!!! THE POWER!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

We've had these chickens for a while...Getting close to a year! For anyone who's curious, the chickens have gotten incredibly huge, and have been laying for a while now. They're in their own coop, now, but we ended up with five roosters, ( ), and had to seperate them from the others. They're horribly bad-tempered little creatures, particularly the roosters. I don't like them AT ALL, really, but at least they've proven to be useful w/providing eggs. (Sometimes over 2 dozen in one good day!) And, (warning to any squamish readers), we currently have one chicken on "death row", as we call it, preparing to be made into a meal.
