It's all a matter of privacy.Granted MC seems safe.But some people sign into here ,and just lurk without posting.So we should all respect everyone's privacy,all right?

I know at least a couple of people here know my first name thanks to those who have been passing it out like a hot chick's phone number.

A few people here know where I live because either for the same reason above, or I trust them enough to give them a hint about the state but not the city.

I post my real name sometimes, and I don't mind people knowing it. When I first came to the net I didn't want to reveal anything ' real ' about myself. I went by the name Billie Barty for 3 years before I started telling people my real name. For all who don't know allready it's Lana. lol

Well my user name is melissa@muppet and my name is melissa, i have no problems with anyone on muppet central knowing my first name. There are heaps of melissa's in australia. I think it is nice if you meet new people that they know you're first name.
