Dont juge a book by its cover. ya know we are having to wait a liitle time befor we get to see the oz movie. Just like we had to wait on the muppets.com and it truned out great. im sure that the people at muppet holding are listening. to what you all have said and are taking all that into consiteration. just be patient. The muppets well be fine.

I really was like a lot of you with your doughts of this movie and the history of the muppets as a whole. Untill one person changed all that for me, Eric Jacboson. When listing to his interview on aussy radio. he seemed very exited about what all disney was going to do. he even said a little bit about a featuer movie for theaterts. but he was hushh hushh about it as well. he Really encougaed me a lot as a muppet fan in this very uncertain time so thanks Eirc you helped a fan out without even trying.

As I've said, virtually any time Ive seen anything Muppety related it's given me a sense of aw and tingly sensations of excitement. I not only feel in awe by this Oz trailer, but nauseated.

then beaker why dont ya just quit. why come on here and ruin the muppets for us who still have a little faith in them and in disney. if your so unhappy with what the muppets are doing then just dont watch them anymore and better yet dont come on here spreding your disliking so much on us who are having a hard time knowing how things are really going to go.

I dont mean to sound rude about it but if your a true muppet fan you would stand by them no matter what. the key thing here is WE HAVE NOT SEEN THE MOVIE YET! We dont know what it is like. The trailor was short and we just dont know what all is going to be in this 2 and some odd minutes of a movie. Dont give up on the muppets now, its just to early to do that. wait and see what the movie is like then if its really really bad then make a desicion on what to do as a muppet fan. Now just be patient and understanding.

well I know that a lot of what what I spued out of my mouth here has been a lot of bad, bad bad, about our friends The Muppets. And gang that is what they are our friends, real and true for those of us who still believe. If they were not our friends we would not care so much about this OZ thing.

Unfortunately my current situation with my wife is playing a major roll in how I feel about anything right now. My marrage turned out to be a sham, and my wife flat out told me she new when she married me that I was the wrong guy. My feeling is that if that could be a sham, if I coudl so easily believe that she loved me, and truly be in love with her, and it was all a sham. Then the dream of the Muppets might just as well be sham too. Will I wait and see the film before passing final verdict, yes I will, but my hope is running thin.

Im sorry Good Doctor, I know you are going through a really hard time and from the bottem of my heart and on behave of everyone in here we are trully sorry.
Know i am not marryed but i some day one to be heck i would even love to have a girlfriend,but i just want ya to know that we are behind you.

True Friendship and true love are a wonderfull and yet a dangerous thing to get involved with in any way shape or frome. From the Muppets to a marrige relationship. there are going to be mistakes and falts and trouble no matter what. Even if Jim Henson where still alive i think we would still have some problems. not as big as we do now but we would have problems. The thing is just becaues one of the muppeters retieres or passes away or the muppets do a not so good movie dont mean i give up on the muppets as a whole grope
Its the same with a love relaitonship with another person,just because that person dont love you anymore dont mean that there is not somone out there that does. I know that you more then likly still love your wife as you should. from what i have heard you say in my mind you have done nothing wrong, but if i try to figuer out everyone and what they are really thinking i would go crazy. Just be calm who knows maybe having time away from you will do you both some good, it might help her to realize she really does love you. i know its hard but some times ya got to try and find some good to a problem. like with the muppets,and what i have posted earlyer. I am truly thankful to all of you, I know this is not the kind of place to be talking about my personal relationship with my wife or how it has ended badly. But it is a life altering event, and it has an effect on every aspect of my life. I have said this before, and Iwill say it again I truly need friends right now so ifany o fyou guys or girls ar ein the greater Denver CO area I would love to get a shout out.

That being said, I am willing to wait and see what the Muppets do with there verision of OZ. I have spent the last 13 years collecting and studying OZ, I even wrote a paper on Baum and OZ in college. So I think my standards are a lot higher that others. I have concerns about how they have changed the story, and seem to have modernized it way over the top. But there are aspects that I like, they are holding ture to the 4 witches of OZ, 2 good and 2 bad. They have stayed away from the MGM version of OZ, and written original songs. The Flying Machines for the Winged Monkeys is an old idea, used in a few earlier versions of OZ, It kind of takes away from the Magic of the OZ fairly land, but if handeled correctly could be very cool.

Listen, I've been a HARDCORE rabid Muppets fan since the early 80's...Ive been on here since 1998. I have lived, breathed and ate Muppets my entire life. So don't you think that I can sense when a ship has been sank? I've posted countless posts how I feel there is still hope left for our beloved Muppets. Yet one cannot help notice that the magic has relaly been drained out. I'm not slamming the door shut on the possibility of a Muppet ressurection of some sort...but in this, the 50th anneversary of the Muppets, I just don't see much to be excited about.

Oh how I wish JHC still had them, and had been bought by a good company...both JHC and the Muppets. I wish a lot of things, I don't wish what is going on now.
