Hey, I'm all for people making a statement, but some of these guys go for "shock for Shock's sake" and then pawn it off as having "Artistic vision." it's not so much a free speach thing for me, but there are millions of talented artists that can't even wedge themselves into a local museum, who have spent years of training, and they lose to moronic posers.

And if he's an animator that whines about cartoons, maybe he's some sort of elitist. Heck, I've heard of a lot of people over 20 liking Kim Possible. There's something for everybody in animation. Coming from someone who loves approximately 80-90% of it (Can't stand 1970's Hanna Barbera outside of Hong Kong Phooey for one), that's an important statement.
