I haven't abandoned it ... I just appreciate technical aspects of shows more than I used to. I think Aladdin did a good job of dealing with Genie's shapeshifting (at one point, when he has to turn into a bee on Jasmine's balcony, the character just has a bee-on-a-stick puppet that he manipulates from a spot just below them... it was funny).
The loan time I went, Toy Story 1, I thought the gigundo head of Sid playing the crane machine was something they muct have struggled with...

Plus, they had the characters sing Randy Newman's songs... and they switched from actual movie recording to substitute voice actors a lot.

Though I loved the Star Wars Cantina they played during Buzz and Woody's encounter in the crane machine.



Doe any of the other On Ices reference other films in some way.

Disney's stage shows--whether On Ice or at the parks--have always done that. Beauty & the Beast: Live On Stage & Voyage of The Little Mermaid are key examples of this.

I seem to vaguely recall something like that. But it seems as if Voyage of The Little Mermaid took parts of that show...XD
