The loan time I went, Toy Story 1, I thought the gigundo head of Sid playing the crane machine was something they muct have struggled with...I haven't abandoned it ... I just appreciate technical aspects of shows more than I used to. I think Aladdin did a good job of dealing with Genie's shapeshifting (at one point, when he has to turn into a bee on Jasmine's balcony, the character just has a bee-on-a-stick puppet that he manipulates from a spot just below them... it was funny).
Plus, they had the characters sing Randy Newman's songs... and they switched from actual movie recording to substitute voice actors a lot.
Though I loved the Star Wars Cantina they played during Buzz and Woody's encounter in the crane machine.
Doe any of the other On Ices reference other films in some way.
