To be fair, my state has never really enforced it. Sure, there was a mask mandate that started back in May or so, and they said anyone caught out in public without a mask would face 30 days in jail . . . but, again, to the best of my knowledge, nobody has ever really enforced it.

As of today, not only has my county seen its second-highest spike in COVID cases yet, but my entire state has just seen it's highest spike in COVID cases since the pandemic began.

And now we've just seen our new third-highest spike yet, and it's no surprise: I was driving through downtown yesterday, not a single person was wearing a mask, nor was anybody social distancing, and I was seeing groups of ten and more people out hanging around and meandering and such.
