Indeed, or a comic book at least. Just not any super-hero junk, tired of that. And super stoopid-silly stuff is tired now, too. Nothin cutesy.

Maybe something humorous like a sitcom.

Well i think the concept is that they're animals in an Urban City Zoo that have kinda got 'tuff'. I guess you would have rival faction's (Tribes) of Urbanimals speaking a kind of street slang and battling against each other which could work in a nice kinda action adventure style animation for teens in prime time on an animation channel - though i think them being restricted to the zoo setting also means the kinda plots you could come up with would be very limited after a while.

In a catfight involving dueling divas or vivacious vixens...
Between a Bunny or a Pig, the choice is no contest...
The Bunny, er, Jessica Rabbit wins out overall!

The prototype Swinetrek from Toy Fair showed a regular star viewscreen, like on the show. I thought I heard you say that was no longer going to be a part of the set. Am I wrong? Or is the star background the default viewscreen that you put the others over top of?

You know, we hadn't planned to do that (starfield default/permanent) but now that you say that it's a really good idea. I'll see what we can do on it. Mayeb a permanently painted field or something. Not sure because of budget, but I can look into it.

Second, I know the Merdlidops are sculpted into the base of the Koozebane set. I recall you saying the male and female Koozebanians would be removable. What about the baby?

Only the Merdlidops are attached. Everything else comes off. Including baby.

Now that the figure will have a director's chair, clapper or clapboard, videotapes with removable image-labeled covers, and an old-style microphone I feel that the figure's essence as the MT host has been frightfully captured.

Mighty glad to hear you say that. I think it will be a kickin SKU. The sculpt is finished and approved...just waiting to see the paints. We will make a few scale adjustments at the factory and a couple of the usual tweaks but the sculpt to me rocks out.

Cool, how many wishes do we have left?

As many as it takes to get the stuff right...

What did you all think of the Gonzo turnaround?

I loved the turn around

Nice too see that the feather duster look on his head is gone. I cut that off of my extra Gonzo and it really makes him look better.

It's the Gonzo of our dreams. Well, maybe your dreams. I personally dream of a world full of love and harmony where everyone joins hands and sings 'We Are the World'. But preferably they would sing 'What's so Funny (Bout Peace, Love and Understanding)?' cause Elvis Costello rocks.

But seriously Ken, you guys look like you've outdone yourselves on Series 5. Everyone of them is a must have, except the Newsman but I think even I can look in my heart and find a place for him.

Man, I remember when this line came out I thought, "Ok, I'll just get Kermit, Piggy, Fozzie, and Kermit. That's all. And maybe Rowlf."

Boy did that plan get thwarted fast. You and your stupid quality and loving attention to detail!

Later

P.S. When I read you daily bit about the dirty Chef, my first (fleeting) thought was, "Oh God, he's not in dreadlocks and a G-string is he?". I guess that would be dirrty Chef.

I like the turn around too. It looks like there's some retooling. It's not absolutely perfect in the eyes, but a lot closer than the daredevil and a grade A piece.

I was also glad to see Camilla's blue eyelids.

I'm really stoked at the dirty Chef too. Much better than the other version. Very exciting!!!:concern:

Camilla looks great, but that Gonzo looks like he could just up and start walking off the screen any second!! Goshamitey, I love these figures!!!

I'm SOOO looking forward to that and the "other" Chef! LOL! Those lobsters are great.

I may have missed it earlier, but can someone update me on any accessories with Gonzo, or is Camilla it?
