Ken - love the Gonzo turnaround. Camilla looks great - it almost looks as if her head will turn, does it?

I know you are still doing paint details, so my 2¢ are, I'm not much for the greenish nose, and after just watching a Gonzo sketch with this outfit, it seemed a lot more deep purple - the figure looks to have more reddish undertones than blue.

I'm buying whatever you put out by the way!

Thanks for more details on the reporter Kermit. Do you know what store he will be offered at? I still can't find the Crash Helmet Gonzo, but this Kermit I HAVE to have!

Is the Tux Gonzo going to be blue with black lines like the first one, or a more purple-ish blue?

P.S.- what changes are you going to make when you say the nose colors are going to be revisited? His nose as it is is more accurate than the first Gonzo.

Not sure what you mean about Gonzo, but the tux is purple. Check out a recent Daily Bit for pictures of the painted prototype.

When I say the nose will be revisited I mean the splotch of greenish yellow on top. A little too much, in my opinion. Gonna try and tone it back some. But no way is it going back to the blue. No way.

Camilla's head will turn, as will her teeny feet.

Koozebane Kermit. We do know who will be carrying him. We just haven't been able to announce it yet. We are waiting for confirmed final paperwork on the purchase order for Series 4 and the Kermit exclusive and as soon as that is in hand an announcement will be made.

I love Tux Gonzo - i think the reddy-purpley Tux color is good and whatever changes have been made to the head sculpt have made him look fantastic - definitely a figure way better suited in Tuxedo form. He's a must have for me in S5, along with Pepe - although i have reservations about the length of Pepe's neck amongst other things.

Also whatever changes have been made to the Messy Chef look quite good, i disliked the the earlier prototypes. Now if you can just work miracles with the Newsman .....

What kind of miracles would you suggest? I thought he was pretty close to right on in the first pass of the prototype. Other than some skin tone changes and general clean up of the details (which we always do anyway) I wouldn't change a thing. Did you see something else I am missing?

When i first saw the Newsman figure, I thought that it looked just like the Puppet !


I think its the closest to the puppet on the first try !

Nah, i didn't mean 'miracles' with such gravity - just the changes you are already making, the skin tone which needs to be more orangey-yellow than washed out - and general sharpening up. I agree that the first prototype shown was the best one.

What i really meant was the others in S5 look so good (i think the only thing we haven't seen is texturing on Beau's face) that making your corrections to Newsman should give you the full scorecard - not a single weak figure in the entire wave !

Beau is in series 6, but I get what you mean. All the final paint tweaks and textures come in the final stage. Right now, I just can't wait for the Chef.
