LOL! Some people were talking on the other thread about Cliffords eyes being creepy. What do you think. I thought they looked okay.

As I said before, the movie Ken was performing for us was "Monty Python & the Holy Grail", not "Men in Black". He just switched a couple of the words. Luckily, his masterful delivery clued me into what the movie was.

Trumpet Lady, and EB is not taking orders for the Fraggle Rock Ned Shimmelfinny variant.

Some posts have suggested Ken has some knowlege of Muppetfest? Now, it was about June 15th we got word of Muppetfest. With the exception of Hollywood Squares when Gonzo was on it, a Muppetfest this year has not even been hinted at.

I am sorry that you have had the unfortunate experience of feeling ridiculed here at MC. I will not speak for Luke, but having known him for a rather long time, I will say that I am sure he meant no specific harm to the Chinese people with him post. Luke will make fun of anyone! Stick around long enough and I am sure you will see that he is an equal opportunity prankster. If the figures in question were being made in the States, Luke would probably be making teamster jokes!

As for your suggestion for making future Palisades figures in America, I would be willing to bet that solution would cut into the profit margin. (And I think we all know that the problems with the manufacture of figures has nothing to do with the ethnicity of those making them!) No matter where it is made, there will certainly be bumps in the road to completion for any product!

Yes! I agree that Luke was not trying to be hurtful, just funny. I know from being around here for so long that he would never say something to offend a culture, race, or another member. I trust that you will stay on this board long enough to realize that we (most of us! j.k.!) are big hearted people who come here to share one common love...Muppets!

I agree with Jess and BW here. I don't believe Luke really meant any harm in his statements, though I knew somebody was going to pick up on it. He's miffed me a couple times too, but that's really his type of wit. Kind of hit-or-miss - and I have learned to value it. He's a good guy.

I am really sorry you have been offended and I'm sure that once Luke notices he will say the same. We're kind of like a dysfunctional family around here sometimes. Believe me, we've all had some prosaac moments! LOL!
