Hey Warrick, Email me the shortcut files and i'll see what i can do !

Just pointing out that not all of us are working 'blind' here and have worked our way up in very similar industries and even dealt with the same companies as Palisades. This kind of promotion is the same whether you are talking TV, Music, Celebrities, Print Media, Toys or any other kind of...

I think Ken mentioned there would be 3 other Muppet lines before the end of the year did he not ? Something like that anyway. I'm guessing they'll be small yet worthy 'stocking filler' items like the Lunchboxes so yeah Ornaments would be nice (same kinda matierials as action figs i guess) and...

Yeah that was kinda my point exactly that i raised - i was hoping they wouldn't and mentioned my concerns. Mega Beaker is due out at Christmas i think. Palisades have a few Muppet lines for later this year but i don't think the others are supposed to be figure related. To me, three figure...

Yup, i understood that - but these figures are still marked up 4 years old or something, and have to go through the same safety checks (that they've luckily passed) otherwise they wouldn't have any chance of making it into TRU. I guess it's the fact that only a very small percentage of kids...

Well a lot of the factory errors people brought up were things that an ordinary person would care about. Something being stuck in your invisible Beaker, Arms and Legs breaking, Blood on the packaging, glasses breaking off - all things that i don't think we are being overly picky about. I'm not...

It's not really about how much work it would take to produce three lines. It's more about how it looks for Palisades to be rushing out three seperate toy lines based around the Muppets in a short space of time. To someone in the media or licensing biz that would scream desperation and a panic...

Actually, i raised that argument as soon as we started talking about mini's but you must have missed it. While i am totally for the minis, i do tend to agree with the 'spread-to-thin' argument - even if it isn't true - i wouldn't like people in the magazines and industry to start saying that...

Y'know thats how i see it - but apparently others don't and i think Ken mentioned that the reports of these kind of things were low elsewhere. Personally, by the laws of averages, i can't see that as ringing true once all the facts and figures are in but heh ho !

Well Cory that might be right, but still, if they are being paid to do a job, then it's their reponsibility to do it. If Ken didn't correct them when there are flaws in the figures then the next thing we could be seeing a little kid choking on a broken arm, or getting cut on a sharp edge. D'ya...

Re: Cory, Warrick, i can see you now - looking lovingly at the Theatre, just visualising where each PVC is gonna sit ! LOL !

LOL - i've always wanted to pose the question of which has been the greatest MC flame war, there are many beauties to choose from as nominee's !

Can it not be posted and then updated as it goes along ? The whole idea was to take the heat off Ken, but he's still baking a month or two later. There was an original version was there not Matt ? Could that not be posted on the forum in the meanwhile and people refer others to it ?

Really ? Wow - you should go back and read the old forum then - plenty of gold nuggets there ! :p

All good points Anika (i always get confused - one N or two ?) but Ken didn't so much say that we wouldn't be getting voice chips. More that he'd love to do them but the licensing costs make it impossible right now. i was merely trying to provide some alternative suggestion of doing it...

Welcome, Your sig pic makes me doubly sure you will be right at home here !

You oughta mention this to Ken when he looks in - i think he has a list of flawed figures and things that he is going to use to kick butt in China - if it's paper then its probably the 'Go' order for the San Diego Animal exclusive that was messed up ! LOL !

As Jess kinda implied - ever actually been over there and asked why people feel that way ? They all have genuine reasons, and it's not always something small like casual 'Muppet infighting' - in fact many over there are founding members of MC, even an ex-moderator all who have had problems with...

Nothing, but the way Nate talks about it you most probably need a cream to cure yourself. Personally i feel that if a persons Muppet experience is limited to Muppet Central then they are really missing out on some stuff and seeing quite a limited viewpoint. There needs to be a lot more to the...
