Do you want a Palisades Muppet Babies Playset?

I really like Muppetquilters idea - if the PVC's do sell well and Palisades can get them widely distributed it'd be fantastic to see a display like that and for them to become a very long running series. Even if the outcome doesn't lead to anything quite so major, maybe it'll be possible anyway...

    Fan Mail

You emailed Henson for a Frank Oz autograph and recieved it quickly ? Are you sure it's real and not a pre-print ? Maybe he signs a lot of them at the same time and Henson just keep them on file, but from what i was aware most of the time his through the mail stuff is fake or pre-printed...

POLL :- What's Your Favorite Vacation Fozzie ?

Yeah what is it with the photos, they look so different from the actual figures. I know some people say it's just the angle but i'm noticing lighting shadows, and much higher quality paint jobs. I guess they are the two-up scale figures taken extrememly professionally - hey maybe i've just...

Fozzie Bear attened Carnegie conference with Lamp Chop, and Grover

Re: Luke In the industry at least, Lambchop is regarded as the more historically important puppet. I agree that Fozzie was the right kinda character to be there and yes, Beaker would have been hysterically funny as would Sam. Just if you are talking puppet history i would've thought they'd...

The WWE: does it get any worse than this garbage?

Re: Re: Cory & The Frogboy I didn't say they don't cater to kids in some ways - i just meant it is a 'filler' market for them. I've got a lot of friends still working there and the main market they aim at really does seem to be a little older now - you only have to look at the plot lines...

Do you want a Palisades Muppet Babies Playset?

Oh, i thought it's like a four year license from the minute you sign it, didn't realise you get to release the whole of the last year. So if the playsets were to continue right to the end of the current license there'd be a possible 4 more unplanned i guess. I think the Chef's Kitchen and...

Do you want a Palisades Muppet Babies Playset?

A bit of smart math tells us there are only 2 (or 3 at the most if they could manage it) playset spots left to fill before the license is up though, they need to find the 2 strongest, mainstream, exciting ideas to keep the playsets sales going until then otherwise it could end a lot sooner than...

New Muppet GBA Game From TDK This Spring

The Gameboy Advance SP is fantastic, especially the silver version. It's tiny and the battery runs for 10 hours with the backlight. Things should take off for GBA even more - it costs more though so i'll probably wait till the price comes down here.

Do you want a Palisades Muppet Babies Playset?

I agree it would be a lovely playset - just not so sure people remember 'Bear On Patrol' as much as they do Vets Hospital, Pigs In Space or the Muppet Theatre. As you say with fewer playset spots now available Palisades need to choose the stronger sets that have as much going for them as...

How do the performers sound in real life?

I think you can definitely hear a bit of 'Gonzo' in Dave's voice - it kinda comes through in parts.

The WWE: does it get any worse than this garbage?

Ooooooh spring break ? Was that the one where they had all the girls in bikinis dancing on beaches and things ? Or was 'The Lick' or 'The Grind' ? Classic programming anyway - i enjoyed that ! :D Yeah i would think it's mostly the 12-16 year olds who are the targets for the after school...

Fozzie Bear attened Carnegie conference with Lamp Chop, and Grover

I agree completely - i'm not a fan, but that puppet has such a history. Certainly not 'F' rated and certainly deserving of being at Carnegie, perhaps even more than Fozzie and Grover actually. Kermit probably should have been there instead as he's historically more in the 'Lambchop' league.

The WWE: does it get any worse than this garbage?

Cory & The Frogboy Once again Cory, you need to understand things before assuming them. The WWE definitely does not target the 12-17 demograph anymore - that was back in the late 80's/early 90's when the shows were more suitable for kids. As their viewing figures began to drop as kids got...

    Here Comes Puppets Who Kill

Why ? Actors do it all the time - why shouldn't puppets ? There are different kinds of actors, i don't see why people can't accept different kinds of puppets. So how did the show do anyway people ? It sounds fab !

Do you want a Palisades Muppet Babies Playset?

Yup, i think Jamies right about the licensing - thats what i remember too. I think a Muppet Babies playset would be a huge mistake - sure it'd be popular with a small group of Muppet fans but it'd probably flop in the stores. Same thing with the Koozebane if that was a playset, and maybe Bear...
