    Lylle Breier

According to The Muppet Mindset, Ms. Breir was already heading Disney's Special Events department even before the film's world premiere. ThePrawnCracker said that when he ran into her at the world premiere, she was already with Special Events.

Let's Tell Disney What We Want!

It's too bad Lylle Breier is no longer running The Muppets Studio division. Or else we could've asked her what the reason for the hold-up is. :(

    Lylle Breier

I just read on The Muppet Mindset that she's no longer running The Muppets Studio division and is now with Special Events. If this is the case, does anyone know who replaced her? I hope that whoever the new Muppets Studio head is can help hurry TMS Seasons 4 and 5 onto DVD.

Redesigned Muppets for "The Muppets" movie

I don't think Disney owning the Muppets has anything to do with it.

Will There Be Any DisneyPark Specials/Tie-ins Next Year?

Disney's California Adventure, next door to Muppet-Vision 3D in the Hollywood Pictures Backlot area. It was replaced by Monsters, Inc.--Mike & Sulley to the Rescue in 2006. Also, the next new Disney park is being built in Shanghai, not Singapore.

Muppets on 2011 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade

This article from the official Disney Parks Blog has confirmed that the Muppets will be appearing in this year's edition of the annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade special on ABC. Statler & Waldorf will be among them, providing their own commentary from a balcony on the Magic Kingdom's...

The movie could have been even better (article)

Beaker, just because a movie uses modern techniques and edits (like "The Muppets" does) does not make it a bad film. Please don't go looking for reasons and excuses to hate the film just because it may not necessarily be your cup of tea.

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

Epictetus, could you please stop slamming the new movie and insulting those of us who were actually pleased with it? It's great for what it is and what was needed to bring the Muppets back to life and get them back on the path to public prominence.

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

Sorry, but I don't completely agree. I think the new movie is real enough for what it is and all the things you mentioned are exactly the kinds of things that the Muppets would do (making fun of old movie trops like travelling by map, constant fourth-wall-breaking, etc.). As much as I respect...

Frank Oz worked on a new Muppet movie script

What if Frank doesn't want to direct another Muppet film? Why must some people be stuck in the past so much? It's clear that Frank has been trying desperately to distance himself from the Muppets as much as possible, not wanting to get type-cast as a "Muppet person", so I think we ought to...

The movie could have been even better (article)

I understand how you feel (I, too, hope that the movie will be released on DVD as an Extended Edition), but I don't think hating on the new movie is a good idea right now. It's doing very well (both critically and finacially) and we should be very happy about it instead of picking it apart.
