They have not said anything about "live shows" and I doubt there will be.
It's just the premise of the game and the characters will only be in the video bits that they're filming for the game.
The Disney Parks Blog just announced that a new interactive game starring the Muppets is going to be featured on the next Disney Cruise Line ship, Disney Fantasy:

It will supposedly be...
I fully agree.
Not only that--at times, Walter's design kinda reminds me of some old school humanoid Muppets like Scoop & Skip. In a good way, of course.
Not all Muppets need extravagant over-the-top designs to be great characters--they just have to have great personalities, first and...
They're not. Carl and Behemoth are live-hand puppets (like Fozzie, Rowlf, etc.), just larger.
So, are there any other full-body Muppets in the film besides Sweetums, Thog and The Mutations or not?
Carl and Behemoth are not full-body characters.
I take this to mean that Sweetums, Thog and The Mutations are the only full-body Muppets in the movie, correct?
As a sidenote, I'm not asking if any other long-absent obscure characters are in the film that we did not see in the trailers, because...
Robin is in the movie as well. He's in the background during Kermit's big "I believe in you" speech.
Either way, I certainly hope that the movie will indeed have many more returning minor characters (expected and unexpected alike) than just the ones glimpsed in the trailers, even if a bunch of...
Another possibility I just thought of:
Perhaps Clifford's appearance is just a VERY brief blink-and-you'll-miss-it non-speaking cameo and Kevin maybe got to put the puppet on and manipulate him anyway.
The ever-reliable Muppet Wiki lists Kevin as a puppeteer in the new film, so there's always...
I doubt that, since the movie, made by huge fans, is about reviving old characters, not introducing new ones (the only truly new characters in the new film are Walter, '80's Robot and The Moopets).
True, but that's only what we've seen so far.
It's likely that there will be additional scenes in the finale that either weren't filmed directly in front of everyone or shot at seperate times and different spots to be editied together later on, if that makes sense.
