Mine tend to run about 22 - 24 inches (including hair on most). I make them that size because they can wear most items from the children's department in size 3/4 and I don't have to custom make clothing as often.
Okay, yeah.... I'm either very smart or just plain lazy. :o

PS...
Anyone interested in a fan mechanism for the inside of mascots/costumes? It works on 2 9v batteries and I have no idea what to price it at, so just make me a fair offer and it's yours.
I have a photo if you would like to see it.

Just listed a piece of medium blue that I must have left out the first time. =)
I noticed that it all went quick. You were buying it up on one end while someone else was taking it from the bottem faster than you could get there. Maybe I should have raised my prices. hee hee :D
I recently purchased all of the inventory, patterns, etc. from a professional puppet builder going out of business. I dont' have room to store everything so I'm selling some items on eBay. Large Lots, pre dyed antron (aka muppet fleece), eyes, completed foam heads, and other supplies up for...
Yeah, it's a temporary problem. I hired someone to update my site, tranfered hosts, and currently the whole site is down because my new hosts were supposed to take over my domain name too.... but they dropped the ball there too. Needless to say, I'm not too impressed with my new web hosting...
Thank you for your interest and compliments on the information provided on my site. The hosting company for my original site has changed, as well as the site's content/design. As you can see by my empty gallery, the site is still under construction and a building reference page is on the list of...
Yes, I would absolutly be willing to get a copy and maybe trade if I have anything of interest for anyone else. I have been trying to find Verna to obtain one but can't locate her.
I have a lot of patterns, videos, etc. if anyone wants to trade something for this copy of Verna's instruction...
I am also trying to locate Verna or a set of her videos. Can anyone help me? I don't believe the Florida address is current anymore. I heard she might be in Virgina???
Thanks,
-Michele
I have yet to purchase one but have always admired Pierre's puppets, not to mention he is a super awesome guy. I will probably end up with one before too long, maybe Santa will get me one.... I've been a VERY good girl this year. *grin*
Wow, I was expecting some sort of string mechanism, very cool. Does your finger come throiugh the opening and pull that lever? It looks like it sort of sticks out from between the eyes, how did you conceal it in such a way that a "ridge or hump" didn't show when you put fabric on him?
No, I think those are just some really big and messy stitches.
By-the way, I do have a reference page, my site is in the middle of being redesigned so the link isn't there anymore. But here it is for you guys:

Oh, and it hasn't been updated...
Hello to all of my good friends. I know it's been a while since my last post. I've been very busy, but I'm not complaining because business has been good. ;)
I just wanted to add that when you do receive your samples it would be great if everyone could post their thoughts and suggestions on...
Do what Buck suggested, find a local repair shop that sells refurbished machines. Thats exactly how I got mine and it cost me less than $150. Even if they don't have a particular machine available, ask them for models that would work well for what you need and then search on ebay. I've seen my...
Mine is a 1954 (or maybe 1956) Necchi which is an iron beast that was made in Italy. I love this machine, in fact, if it wasn't so darn heavy I would carry it down the isle and marry it. :flirt: :p
Seriously, it's a great machine. I have a singer (1999?) which I use as a back up when I have...
