Does anyone know how the moving eye/eyebrow effect is done?

I don't mean the Bert/Johnny Fiama brow. I mean Oscar/Gonzo brow.

I think that there is a mechanism inside the puppet that allows the puppeteer to stick his fingers up (or perhaps move a wire?) and shift the eyebrow, similar to the eye mechanisms on Sam Eagle and Gonzo. Terry Angus or Karen Prell might be able to answer this question for you better. I am not so sure- what I said above was just a guess.

Terry or Karen: if you're here, help me out!

There's a great sketch of animal's eyebrow mech that Terry posted on the board years ago somewhere...try searching the puppetry forum under eye blink or eye wink. This subject has been covered here a lot over the years and there is, as always, lots of good stuff to be found in the archives.

Awesome! Man, this is the type of stuff I'm looking for! I hear puppetplanet is filled with this stuff but I dont know how to access it! Is there like a resources page or something?

By the way, in the image http://www.puppet-planet.com/blinkeye1.jpg
it looks like the puppets mouth was stapled in place!

No, I think those are just some really big and messy stitches.

By-the way, I do have a reference page, my site is in the middle of being redesigned so the link isn't there anymore. But here it is for you guys:

Oh, and it hasn't been updated in a while so if you know of additional diagrams, free patterns or otehr helpful information that should be here then let me know and I'll get it up there and "preserve" it for everyones future reference.
