I'm already mad at the oscars for constantly snubbing Jim Carrey in dramatic roles (say what you will, but Carrey is an awesome awesome dramatic actor).
If Passion of the Christ doesn't win at least a few big awards, I -- as I am sure many many many others -- will be very very suprised.

It is actually quite freaky what happened to him whilst composing the score.
I do believe in Satan and the supernatural. I have also heard many John Debney scores, and "none," none, come even close to the genius of the score for The...
I read in an article that Debney said he was being bothered and harrassed by Satan while writing the score.
Whether or not you believe in Satan, the fact that John Debney, a composer whos neither famous nor well-known, composed what is possibly one of the greatest scores in cinematic...
Composer of many big-time movies, with about half of the Star Trek films being some of his most well-known.
During his earlier days, he ranked right up there with John Williams and Michael Kamen.
Oh god ... all of the greats we grew up with are going so fast! Mister rogers, ray charles, barry wbhite, michael kamen ... and now jerry goldsmith

Fraggle DVD News
Recieved this toiday in my fraggle e-mail alert from tvshowsondvd.com:
We've gotten in e-mails from folks working at Wal-Mart SuperCenters around the country. They tell us that they are unpacking the new DVDs for this week, and Fraggle Rock - Where It All Began is among...
Disney also made quality programming. Walt created Disneyland out of pure love. He angered Roy by over-spending on what Roy saw as unnecessary things while Walt saw them as luxury items to enhance the guest experience. Walt walked through the park everyday; helping out as much as he could...
The first time I saw JTE, a deeper voice for Big Bird was very distracting. But now, these days, I'm getting used to him. It's taking a while, but I'll get there :)
He does do a very good job, though; I agree.
I don't watch SS too much anymore, although I do like to sometimes catch it on weekdays when I'm up early enough.
My question: How many episodes does Carroll Spinney perform in during a season? While in Utah, I was watching an episode of SS, and it was obvious to me that Big Bird was not...
We were in Salt Lake visiting my grandme and unfortunately the local Hot Topic didn't have them. Hopefully, our local one will.
And I noticed that hottopic.com is selling a few SS shirts ... are these being sold in store as well, or are they just a website thing?
Regarding a post on the first page, Walt Disney is more of a creative genius than Jim Henson, as much as I loooooooove Henson. Both Disney and Henson are the two most creative geniuses in family entertainment. However, in terms of what each one accomplished and the principles/ideals set forth...
OK ... today I am watching ABC, Hillary duff is performing, and oh my God ... so much more hysteria for her, so much more than artists who are way more "vocallly mature." So many young kids are screaming "I love you" ... a lot of the adults literally look very unimpressed at everything :) I...
Alright, I have another 1: the entire "True Blue Miracle" sequence in Xmas Eve On SS. The effect that SS had on me while growing up ... the awesome times I had in elementary school ... when times were simpler and life seemed more carefree ... the fondness and love for all the old people on the...
Tonight, I'm having the urge to play his "Song for You" over and over. Such a great voice ... strangely beautiful is the best way to describe it ... "nobody," and I mean nobody, can every replace him.
Ray Charles, to me, is held very deeply in my heart. As many of you know already, I am...
First, Mister Rogers, then Ronald Reagan, then the great Ray Charles, now this...

Brando Was Working on Final Film

Sounds like a great film.
So many great celebrities have died within the past couple years: Mister Rogers, Ray Charles, Barry White, Bob Hope, Ronald Reagan, etc ... and now Marlon Brando.
And Brando wasn't even that old.
