Going on what was said earlier, I was introduced to the Muppets from Muppet Babies, and though obviously Muppet Babies was an important part of my childhood, the Muppets are so much more than that and I don't want people to think I am solely a Muppet Babies fan.
I was lucky enough to watch...
I think where the character looses his charm in the new design is in the face. Part of that could very well be the lighting. The first design seems softly lit while the second has a harsher shading that makes him seem a little obnoxious. Also, the eyes seem to have a ring under them. Yes, this...
But the Waterhorse came out in December not long after Alvin and the Chipmunks came out. And I've never even heard of that second movie. Maybe they aren't mainstream enough for kids' tastes? (I'm grasping at straws here.:o)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there haven't been many family films released in a while... maybe that's why the Chipmunks are still playing? In order to keep an option for family entertainment, it is still playing.
Just my thoughts.
I grew up with the cartoon and think it held a very nice message for small children. There are moments of the show that are genuinely funny and other moments are touching. I for one am glad that I grew up with it, because I consider the imagination to be one of the most important things in my...
I've never actually had a day callender before, so I'm having fun ripping out the pages as the days pass. I only kept a few pages.
.... Oh the simple joys in life.
I always wind up feeling sorry for cereal mascots. The Lucky Charms guy is just trying to get away from sugar crazed kids and the Trix rabbit just wants his cereal! There wasn't really any fun in that. It just seems like kids being mean to me.
Does anyone remember that one California Raisins...
I know I'm probably wrong, considering that it isn't the Muppet Show, but this reminds me of Muppet Vision 3-D, durring the finale. There were lots of explosions and Sam was there.
There are way to many funny Muppet moments to possibly make a list of my favorites, but I was just thinking last night about how I can't help but to crack up when seeing "The Impossible Dream" sketch from the John Cleese episode.
That sketch really shows off Kermit's mischieveous side without...
I am a girl. I just like to give myself gender confusing names on message boards like this.
:insatiable: I mess with your minds.
It was probably obvious though.
The Fraggles seem rather ageless to me. It's hard to say what age they are, considering even the adult Fraggles don't seem to act like adults by human standards. They're all rather young at heart. I think that the five main Fraggles are teenagers. What age exactly, I'm not sure.
Drawing on the computer is something that takes a while to get used to. Your computer drawing looks cute to me, but I also like what you do with traditional stuff.
What program did you use to do the computer art?
