I don't think the message of any of the Muppet movies (that I've seen at least) is cruel or vulgar. It's true that there are inappropriate jokes, but the big message of the movies is good. However, none of the messages are as deep as the original three Muppet Movies
I think that even the worst Muppet films have their bright moments. I admit, I had to watch VMC and MFS multiple times before they finally grew on me, but they did. As far as VMC goes, it did have the Muppet Theater, something we hadn't seen in a long while, as well as appearances by characters...
I don't think I could possibly say. I've had way too many cartoon obsessions over the years to narrow it down to just one favorite. I'm not sure where to even begin. Between childhood favorites, various anime, and cartoons I watch now, I don't even think I could narrow it down to a top ten list!
Muppet Vision 3-D is a must go attraction when I'm at MGM --- Oh wait... It's Disney Hollywood Studios now. It is a great show and has so many funny, quotable moments. Even the preshow is genius!
This is a little off topic (but not really), but the last time I was at MGM, I lost my ID case...
My fondest childhood memories involve shows I saw on television. That might sound sad, but I liked them. In addition to things already mentioned, I'll through in a few things.
There used to be a show I would watch that featured performers dressed as animals. I think it took place in a pet shop...
I think this site is a great deal of fun, but I hope it's a sign of more things to come. As fun as the videos and interactive things are, it didn't take me long to click though all of them. I hope that the site will continue to be updated as a weekly thing. But that may be too much to ask...
Boober - There is something to be loved about a obsessive compulsive worrier. I really love eppisode where he risks getting sick to help Gobo and Wembley. You can tell that he is scared to death of germs but he puts that fear asside for his friends.
Wembley - He's really sincere and innocent...
1. Scooter. I consider him one of the core Muppets (along with Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, and Gonzo) but since Richard Hunt's death, he hasn't appeared much at all. And the appearences he has made have been all too short. I thought it was nice to see him come back in IAVMMCM
2. Dr. Teeth and...
That's funny, because it took me a lot of searching to find my copy of Muppets From Space. I eventually got mine from the giant Virgin
Records store in Downtown Disney. That being said, I probably didn't look hard enough.
Muppet TV is a step in the right direction, actually. Yes, it wasn't...
Aww, that bottom picture of Piggy and Fozzie is really sweet.
And I love Gonzo's expression! So cute! I can just imagine him saying "I'll never wash my nose again, Piggy my sweet."
Heh.
That may be true, but at the same time, Muppet Babies was many kids (including myself) jumping off point for the Muppets. Watching Muppet Babies and The Muppet Show on Nickelodeon was a very memorable part of my childhood. Though I would probably still be a Muppet fan, I still don't know. And...
I have an iPod, and there are advantages in buying individual songs. Sometimes, I really LOVE one song, but I don't want to buy the whole CD!
That being said, I love cds too. It's the same with comics in a way... Webcomics are wonderful, but there is something to be said about being able to...
My school's library had the Muppet Show Book. I enjoyed the illustrations.
I am so excited about the new Fraggle Rock book! I hope it lives up to my expectations!
My theory is that the audience (small children) can relate more to the running gag than just a one time thing.
When you look at The Muppet Show, Gonzo's crush on Miss Piggy only lasted a few episodes. In fact, it was really only apparent in episode 24 of Season 1. But in Muppet Babies, I guess...
