here in indiana, i have yet to see the Peanuts figures in a Traget store. however, i HAVE seen them at Meijer! i even bought Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Schroder for my mom's birthday yesterday...if anyone wants them, i'd be happy to go shopping again...they seem to have a pretty decent amount...
you know what? i admit that Bill Hicks was the original "angry man ranting", but he's DEAD. has been for years. get over it.
in the mean time, why not try and think of Leary, Black, and all these other comedians that i've heard accused of "stealing" Bill Hicks as people who carry on in the...
Re: A song for Grail from Cantus
hey now...i still have 16 years before i hit "over the hill"
oh god...i've only got 16 years before i'm "over the hill"...
i think i'm gonna go cry now...
because i'm intrigued, i'm going to add to Matt's "bronze danish" prize with one of my own. to whoever Matt picks as the winner, I will award a He-Man. not just any He-Man, but the variant "cross on chest" He-Man that they stopped making mid-run in favor of the stylized "H". i'm...
heh heh...if Ken's smart, he'll call in sick today. otherwise he's gonna have to spend his birthday with Travis, Greg and Kieth...
i can see it now, Ken walks in bright and early to find that the guys started "celebrating" the night before with a bottle of tequila, a midget, and Stewart the...
what is it with you Austrailians and nudity? you're like the third one of you i've seen making reference...the only one who comes close to referencing it as much as you aussies is Luke...and he's, er Luke.
don't feel bad, after hearing that you liked it i'm looking forward to seeing it at least once.
but then, i actually LIKE one of the "card monster" animes...Digimon! it's just so much MORE than that poke-crap could ever hope to be.
um...is it my imagination or is Sully a different color now? i remember him being blue with purple spots when i saw it in the theater. but as i'm watching my DVD, he's GREEN with purple spots...everything else seems to be on track though...
it's weird...
the problem with that is that they used the characters in conjunction with known Star Wars characters. they can no longer claim parody because of that. they would have to be sanctioned by Lucasfilm...which would COST...
heh, yeah...maybe i can get into the movies cheaper!
at least i'll get a key to the "Senior Washroom"...i've been holding it for months, and it's the only bathroom that doesn't smell like moldy feet...
it's been a long, hard, muffin-filled journey, but i have finally arrived. i am now a SENIOR member...
and now...i feel old...
GET OFFA MY LAWN! GOL-DERN WHIPPERSNAPPERS!
where's my oatmeal?
um...i hate to break it to you, but you might want to go back and re-read the article. those are ones that the Toyfare guys made and want to see produced. they are NOT being made...except for the last one. that one really is being made. i'm not gonna say who it is because probably not...
i'm not Ken...i'm shorter and have more hair...but i CAN answer those questions!
first off, Toyfare was right...when it was printed. since then, Palisades has decided to hold back regular Rowlf as a kicker for one of the later lines, so Tux Rowlf got the call, and has stepped into his place...
true story:
today is my mom's birthday. she's turning 48, and beginning to FEEL 48. i've been trying for a week to come up with a good birthday present for her, and yesterday i had the perfect idea. i had to go to three different Meijers, but i got a Lucy (who comes with psychiatrist...
yeah, i thought that was a good way of illustrating what i meant. i was gonna bring it up in the MST4K thread, but it helped me make a point in here, so here it went...
amy - groovy, just let me get my hidden cam...er...nevermind, maybe i shouldn't go this time after all...
matt - man do i hear that...if people think i'm "marginally funny" on the board, you should see me in real life...i try to make a joke, and come off sounding like forrest, forrest...
i'm not a nerd, i'm a geek...there's a difference
for example, only a geek like me would be ashamed that there are this many MST3K fans in this forum, yet no one has made a "Nummy muffin cocol butter" reference until this very post. (i think)
a nerd would just point out that i spelled...
greetings and salutations! you're quite correct, people who think the Muppets are childish are people that havn't seen them since they were children. they work on SO many levels...it's great to have another fan to the fold, jump in...have a party! and a muffin!
