that's where i was headed too...they're the only one's i could think of that might "pick up" where another company left off...i was hoping, though...
in the words of Tim Allen, "Never give up, never surrender!" i've got a name and email address for a guy at Lucas licensing if'n you...
honestly, after the three-episode "movie", i havn't exactly gone out of my way to see it. though i bought tapes tonight, so i'll tape/watch this weekend. He-Man was REALLY good, but i was not impressed with Armada, even though i really wanted to be.
and all my fellow sci-fi nerds take note...
heh...i just picked up my copy after work tonight...$13.99 at Meijer...for those that don't have Meijer, it was $14.99 at Wal-Mart. i also got Smoochie Must Die, but i accidentally got it in full-screen, so i have to go back and correct that...good thing i kept the receipt
hey now, those rabbit digimon are cute! although how they walk without tripping over their own ears is beyond me. i do like the fact that i can admit that i'm waiting very...patiently (okay, no i'm not) for season 4 to hit, and i've got someone to back me up. i've really been pleasantly...
i agree with Struble...everyone go get people to read comics! i WOULD read just about everything that is out there, but i have had to completely avoid some titles (like JSA, for instance) because i KNOW it's good, and i KNOW i'll end up buying it, and i can't afford to get it...heck, i had to...
a couple things...
first off, a Jim Henson figure - it's been brought up before, but apparantly Henson dosn't even want the Jim Henson MUPPET made as a fig, let alone the real thing. it's a shame, though...i for one would LOVE to see one.
secondly, to Ken - have you heard who it is that has...
*starts applauding*
there's gotta be a good way to modify that joke, but all i can think of is "no it isn't, a sandwhich just isn't a sandwhich without the cool taste of Miracle Whip!" which isn't necessarily funny, so much as the thought of Baby Pluc...er Daffy slathered in Mayonaise is.
towards the top of this page, i gave someone else instruction on how to put up one of the pictures (called an avatar) that many of us have. if you read up a bit, you should find it. there's a bit on page three too, but i won't make you look for it, it was saying that the picture can be no...
yep, there MAY be a Toy Story 3. they have an idea, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen are MORE than willing to do it, the problem? in a word, Disney. from what i understand, the original Disney/Pixar contract was for 5 movies. Pixar, wanting very much to get out from under Disney's umbrella has so far...
and no one will insult you...WILL THEY? (this is open discussion, and everyone gets an opinion...first one that tries to say otherwise answers to me...and i can be a real meanie when i have to...okay, well maybe i can't but still...) honestly, for the most part i'd say you have pretty good...
Re: Carmina Burana!!
i also am a trombone player (mostly, i can play baritone, tuba and a LITTLE trumpet too), and yes...we take it VERY seriously here. we were always in unending battle with our arch-rivals, the Ben Davis "Giants" (whose had purple as one of their school colors, se we called...
