Does anyone have any idea specifically what songs will be on the 40th anniversary set? If there's a good amount of songs that haven't already been released on previous CDs, I might buy it, otherwise, I think I'd rather obtain them via MUP3 trades, lol.
Of course then again, I could already...
I'm willing to bet that SOME idiot actually WILL give you a rock for Halloween.
On another note, the Snowth in my avatar will be going as someone we all know and love... and just to save everybody the trouble, no I don't mean anyone along the lines of Elizabeth Montgomery, Kathy Greenwood, or...
Yeah, same here, lol.
Nice to see though that "Monster in the Mirror" is coming in strong this week... Wayne Brady's "Between" song wasn't so much last week, but it was still my choice anyway, lol.
I kind of wish they put "Things That I Remember" on the "Songs from the Street" set... but maybe if there's a 40th anniversary CD set, they might put it on that one, I dunno.
After rewatching "Elwood City Turns 100", I only have to ask this...
Did anyone else besides me think the intermission with Arthur, Buster, Brain and Muffy on Larry King was one of the most random things they ever did on the show?
As far as WB DVDs are concerned, I'm STILL waiting for them to continue releasing season sets of Ed, Edd n Eddy - they gave us the first two seasons, then just quit.
On that note, MGM left us hanging after three seasons of Green Acres, same with Sony Wonder with Rocky and Bullwinkle.
To this day, I'm glad Sesame Workshop let me keep Big Bird's birthday posted on YouTube, when they could've very well demanded it be removed for copyright issues, like a lot of companies.
I guess SW's just cool like that.
Thanks for the info Wes.
The reason I asked is that I have new characters I'm working on building that I'd like to have the feathery hair for - they're about the size of a typical/standard puppet for like plays and such, one character has shoulder-length hair, and other two have shorter, but...
Not only that, but the backstory to "Things That I Remember" was poignant as well, as that's when Norman Stiles was leaving the show after all those years.
Man, I feel like crying now... memory lane is so... *Gets misty eyed* nostalgic...
