Man, I knew it was going to be SO HARD to choose! So many memories flooding back watching these videos, I wish there was another option - vote all, lol.
While most of the videos bring back happy memories, and I loved just about all of them, I was actually torn the most between Monster in the...
I know that a lot of puppets have ostrich feathers for their hair and whatnot... I was just wondering exactly how long can this "material" come in? And if there's possibly a synthetic substitute that might work as well and how long can it come in as well?
Um, I HAVE talked to her...
I don't see it, she just simply asks the same questions all check-out people ask customers, though Mom says "It's the way she asked you..."
Whatever, lol.
I'm sure as many people who prefer SST nostalgia over the current incarnation that sales did pretty well, it's just that WB isn't exactly the best company for DVDs, especially as far as children's/family compilation sets are concerned.
It won't work.
Back in July, when YouTube announced the forced Beta Channel switch, there was a blackout from July 10 to 15. When we came back, it turned out YT delayed the switch, and it just happened earlier this month.
If it didn't work for YT, it's not going to work for Hulu. After...
Yeah, that is wonderful.
I'll admit though, I was kind of hoping they'd do something similar like they did with Season 35 (make the premiere a Sunday night special), but oh well. Beggars can't be choosers. I'm just thankful that SST's lasted this long, and hope it continues to last.
Are they still following this new every other day, as opposed to everyday broadcasting of the new episodes? Lol, I'm still not used to that. :smirk:
I kind of miss the old days (for me anyway, har-har) when the new season always kicked off in April... that always made April worth looking...
That's very true, they could have very well done this as a CD set, but I'm guessing someone in the research-and-development department decided that just simply listening to classical music wouldn't stimulate the kiddies' minds nearly half as much as it would if there were moving pictures to go...
Does anyone know when they change decades to continue the voting? I'm curious to see what we'll have to select from from the 90s - that'll probably be another toughie for me, because that was a decade I grew up in, and I'm sure they'll be some videos that hold special places in my heart.
It's almost kind of like Teletubbies - everyone talked about how it pretty much was like a reversal effect as far as "educational" television is concerned... the babyish gibberish, the simplisity of it all, etc.
Ironically though, from what I understand, THAT show came to be from a concept...
Personally, I was never a believer in selling your creations to another larger company, which again usually ends up getting messy (e.g. Muppets Vs. Disney, Chipmunks Vs. Universal, etc).
Heck, ironically, it was Walt Disney himself who advised less-experienced people in the industry (like Sid...
I've found that quite a few artists and creative people can be notoriously hard to be pleased with their own work.
Sometimes even I find myself not completely 100% proud of something I've accomplished... heck, it's been several months now, but I've actually grown to despise one of my own...
