Similar happens to me from time to time as well; I've found that every few months or so, something like this will happen to me, but I'm just assuming that these are "new" people who haven't seen my work before, and decided to favorite a bunch of stuff. And again, it's almost always only my...
Sadly, it's because a lot of kids didn't get the jokes. Nowadays though, kids probably would've gotten it since their little minds are warped at such a young age now. The show was MUCH more popular in Europe anyway... THEY actually had merchandise, and what did we get? A line of Taco Bell toys...
Maybe it's just me, but I think the fact that the Johnny Bravo set has a special feature for Seth MacFarlane is forced.
I mean, do you really think they'd even bother doing a featurette with him if he wasn't famous for creating Family Guy, American Dad, The Cleveland Show, Neighbors from H e...
After re-watching Disc Two again (I've been wearing Disc One out), I noticed that in addition to the music insertion at the beginning of "My Nest, My Home", Big Bird's opening line "Well Radar, the hurricane's all over, now we can go back home to my nest" had been redubbed.
Indeed, although that was one of Sid and Marty's lesser-known shows, it was really a gas.
I do know that all of the episodes (I think) are currently on Hulu... it's funny how a couple of Christmases ago, I first stumble onto it, and the first episode I watched was a Christmas-themed episode...
Because you can't believe everything you read on Wikipedia.
The only "law" I'm aware of regarding children's programming (especially cartoons) is that they have to have a minimum of 65 episodes to be syndicated... so shows that were either originally network shows that had a fairly long run...
This thread is based on two things, 1. Huey Lewis suing Ray Parker, Jr. because he felt Parker's theme from Ghostbusters sounded too similar to his own "I Want a New Drug" and 2. We have a misheard lyrics thread, so why not a songs that sound similar to each other thread?
Aside from the whole...
This has been a bit of concern of mine that's been growing recently...
Will future generations not even know who Jim Henson was? Granted WE know who he was, previous generations know who he is, those we associate with who are younger than us might be familiar with him, but what about the...
You may disregard my previous post.
It just now occured to me that I've probably done more regular maintenance on the scale in the past five months than I've ever done when I've had to do any radical reconstruction due to moving damage.
Here's a look at some of the progress from the...
Okay, here's the other one I meant to mention...
The Coasters' "Charlie Brown"
The Real Lyrics: "Who's that goofin' in the hall?"
What I heard: "Who's that poopin' in the halls?"
I'm serious.
And you guys think our commercials are disturbing? International commercials are even worse, because America's like the ONLY country that's so patsy about certain things we can see on TV.
I've seen an international commercial that featured a man in his living room, watching a nature show...
This isn't quite disturbing persay, but there is some clever wordplay with double-meaning with Green M&M's election campaign as she explains to her publicists that "it's all about working the polls".
If Steve Whitmire is afraid of soda pop, how does he feel regarding cola? Both are indeed highly interchangable, but at the same time, just changing the name can put a person at ease. :smirk:
That might have been the last one produced, because according to Nickelodeon's episode guide, the final Rocko episode had something to do with Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt in jail with a giant Easter egg of sorts.
On the subject, the Courage finale was epic... we FINALLY got to see his past...
Wow, this thread is strange for two reasons... 1 is that it's OLD (man, there's been thread resurrections galore lately, lol), and 2 who is this Alpha chick with 200+ posts yet I've never seen her around here before?
Anyshoe, here's a couple for me...
Billy Ocean's "Get Out of My Dreams"...
