A while back, I kept forgetting to submit my Muppet art to the JimHensonConnection group, and would be contacted by the group's owner to submit it, because someone else had already submitted them to the group favorites rather than the group gallery (safe to assume it was you, Drtooth?)...
Squee, I got three new watchers in the past few hours today.
I don't believe I'm saying this, but one thing I wouldn't mind more of right now is Llama Badges... I've seen other people on dA have anywhere between 50 to 100 badges, and do less than I do, and I don't do that much on dA these days.
Makes me wonder what might have ever become of the original orange Oscar puppet.
Granted, we know Jim did go ahead and rip it to shreads and such, but even way back when, Caroll felt that it could've been a museum piece someday.
Cover. It was originally recorded in the 60s by Tommy James and The Shondells, who also did songs like "Mony Mony" (also later covered by another 80s group), and "Crimson and Clover" (later covered by Joan Jett).
That reminds me... has Tiffany ever sung an original song, rather than doing covers of previous songs, and slightly changing the lyrics to where there'd be from a female perspective, instead of a male perspective?
I still have my centuries-old (by today's standards) CD player... as long as I still have that, do I really need all of these fancy-dancy pea-sized thingamadoodies to listen to music?
Summer's only halfway over, but it's been a TERRIBLE summer thusfar.
According to the news yesterday, we broke all kinds of records...
1. We broke the record for the hottest June in two decades. :grouchy:
2. We broke our average for number of days with 90 or + degree weather (so far 34...
Here's a couple more on my behalf...
Band's "The Weight"
The Real Lyrics: "Take a load off Anny / take a load for free / take a load off Anny"
What I Heard: "Praise the Lord for Manny / praise the Lord for me / praise the Lord for Manny"
And now here's one that apparently I wasn't the...
Don't worry, at this point in time (well not THIS point in time), the show also being broadcast on YouTube has become a bit of an obligation, mainly because that's where most of Steve's fanbase is.
My to-do list is growing a bit longer though, as there's going to be quite a number of limbo...
That's odd, considering that all the pics are hosted from Photobucket. :smirk:
But to the point: I had a pretty good meeting with a pal of mine at PBS today, for insight and such on how to get the show into production, and he agrees that community television is the best route to take for...
Yeah I agree.
I think it was a good idea to go ahead and end it now, because the more movies they carried on with, the more people were going to learn to hate Shrek... like those Air Buddies sequels and it took them forever to do a TV series based on all those Land Before Time movies (which I...
Well then, you fake it very convincingly, because all this time, I assumed you were actually doing all of this for real... your puppets certainly look very complex and professional.

It's rather bizarre, but still somewhat amusing.
Hey Kev, I've been meaning to ask you something about Muley...
I know the Muppets usually don't like to share their secrets about how they do things, but surely you will, since you once talked about how you would make Muley ride a bike of sorts...
My question is how have you managed to...
I saw them at Walmart while looking around, amazingly (you'd think that would be like a Toys-R-Us exclusive or something, like those Potato Head accessory packs).
Still, I purchased just a regular Toy Story edition Mr. Potato Head to replace the one I lost years ago... great to have him...
I just have to say... I don't really get why "Mr. Angry Eyes" has become such a cult-favorite with fans, because we never really saw Mr. Potato Head with his angry eyes... we saw Mrs. Potato Head pack them up for him, but we never saw him wear them...
Not to mention the wonderous invention that is... the TATER TUSH, where you can shove all of his body parts up his potato ***!
I like the plastic potato body we have now, but I understand it, the plastic potato bodies used to be smaller and darker... I haven't seen any of these types of...
I remember years ago being in a hotel, where I saw a little old lady walking her dog down the hallway to her room - I remember commenting "I didn't know the staff allowed dogs", to which she responded "If I pay extra, they do."
