Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

All this talk of stereotypes, it brings to mind that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry mentions that people used to think he was gay because he's a thin, single, neat-freak (and in later seasons, voluntarily shaves his chest), and did a bit about how if a man is big, fat, sloppy, and lazy, he must...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

No, it doesn't, in fact, I believe that's a Firefox-exclusive add-on, however, I don't care for Firefox, so I wouldn't switch to it just for that one feature: Firefox, in general, doesn't display contest nearly as nicely as recent versions of IE.

Now what's going on with YouTube?

Okay, YouTube must have made more un-necessary changes to the site, because we clearly have some new bugs and glitches that are super annoying... First of all, the subscriptions module is acting up again, only this time, videos are actually disappearing, so I guess at this point, the old glitch...

Anyone else think that D A is a bit stuck up?

Well, I see the ad-fix sure didn't last long... now we're back to ads automatically refreshing themselves every 30 seconds or so, and with two or three (or more) ads on each page, and not all of them being in sync with each other, that really bogs down the page when you have to wait for the ads...

Jason Segel to host SNL on 11/14

Just because he did the movie, now Jason Segel will (for some time) be labeled as being associated with the Muppets? Oy...

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

Yeah, well they say Glee is a "family-friendly" show as well, and you got gay people galore on that show. Really, prime-time isn't family-time anymore like it was back in the 50s, 60s, and early-to-mid 70s; maybe shows like the aforementioned are "tamer" than others, but I'd argue about the...

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

The problem is all these "fundamentalist" groups out there that say homosexuality is an "evil cult" that our children shouldn't be subjected to. Okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but there IS like an unwritten rule in entertainment that says homosexuality is NOT a a family-friendly...

Sesame Workshop Trying To Have It Both Ways(Bert/Ernie issue)

I have to admit that I'm guilty of buying some of these ghetto/bling-bling SST shirts myself... I don't care if they're official or not, I just like 'em... Cookie eating a cookie with his name in big, graffitti-style letters; Oscar wearing a big 'G' madalian around his neck; Count surrounding by...

    A Continuation of Toots' Tune?

Sometimes I wish I lived out in West Knoxville, mainly because West Knoxville's happenin'! Lol. Plus, so much is out there that isn't in any other parts of town, like BAM, Best Buy, Jo-Ann's, West Towne Mall (East Towne's virtually a ghost town anymore), among other things, but I bet West is...

Is The New Fraggle Rock Movie Such a good Idea?

Okay, I'm sorry, but I now have NO more respect for JHC whatsoever... I mean seriously, this is exactly why whenever I die, I want my work to die with me, I wouldn't trust it in the hands of anybody, no matter who theyare, friends or family, or whoever.

    Pet Peeves

Oddly enough, I was homeschooled for high school, and homeschool is mostly religious-based cirriculum... and that IS where I learned it. Hmmm...

Well again, the exception is supposed to only apply to biblical or historical figures, that's what they taught us.
