When did this go from being the Unofficial Picture Thread to I Won't Post My Picture Because I Either Look Stoned, Look High, Nobody Wants to See What I Look Like, or My Face Will Crack People's Monitors Thread?
Their Muppet careers are pretty identical: both retired from the Classic Muppets, though both also continued to contribute to SST, only Frank would devote one day out of the year to perform his characters, while Jerry dubbed the voice of his characters.
At this time, I really feel it necessary to bump this thread, because I believe that at this point in time, while we continue to mourn the loss of the late, great Jerry Nelson, Matt Vogel could also use some support from us as well.
We know what a great job he's done taking on the characters...
Well see, the thing about Rowlf wasn't so much that he had an absence because of Jim's death, and trying to find a replacement performer for him, Rowlf had actually been retired out of respect for Jim, and you know, there are a lot of different aspects about Rowlf: yes, he was a key player of...
Oh-kay...
So, I caught a glimpse of the news this evening, and they were talking about everybody just loves this new reality series about that Honey Boo Boo kid and her redneck family, and that the popularity is so high that TLC has decided to shoot additional episodes for the current season...
I'll bet... my middle school was right smack dab in the middle of the ghetto, so yeah... three years of headaches for me... and while my high school WASN'T in the ghetto, it was just as bad as middle... though luckily, after four weeks, I was home schooled until I graduated.
You're going into highschool, but you're going into Grade 10? I take it your school system is old-school where the grades are divided K-6 for elementary, 7-9 for middle, and 10-12 for high, instead of K-5, 6-8, and 9-12.
Either way, I have to agree with what Newsie and others have said, it'll...

The heat decided to return for the final week of summer, and man alive, is it a scorcher out today! All things considered though, this HAS been a VERY pleasant summer for a change... with the exception of an occasion week or two period where it did get really hot, we've pretty much been...
I don't know about particularly gory, but I have had an occasional explicit dream here and there that I never understand what brings them on... for example, I've had a dream where some gang bangers ambush Tom Bergeron and beat him to a blood pulp, likewise I had a similar dreams where they did...
As most of you guys know by now, IDGet (my favorite webcomic), is known for occasional spoof/parody strips of various different things from time to time, including Muppets; well, the most recent strip was a clever little tribute to Jerry Nelson...
I would just like to say, once again, that if anyone deserves to be rich and famous for couponing, it's my mom. Seriously, my mom was couponing LOOOONG before couponing was all the rage... she was coupoining before couponing was a J-O-B job. She's been couponing since I was just a little kid...
You know, when I read these supposed urban legends about some of the lucrative things Jim did in the early days of the Muppets, such as buying out the entire inventory of "Wacky Stacks" to supply the Muppets with their eyes for years to come, or stock piling the specific fabrics and material he...
Hey Kuriboh.
I'm glad you're really excited about this idea you have for a new show, and it does sound really great and everything, but you really should be careful about going into so many details out in the open like this, you never know who else is out there, and would be reading this, and...
There's a couple that I really like: one was used during the early-to-mid 70s at the end of various sketches, such as Kermit and Grover demonstrating short and long, Ernie surprising Bert for his birthday, the Little Miss Muffet sketch where the actor playing the spider kept getting his costume...
