Well, I saw the "behind-the-scenes" footage, showing how they composited those difference sequences digitally in post, they showed before and after, before had Shrek, after had Jim in its place.
Ironically, a book was just released detailing the deaths and burials and gravesites of various celebrities and otherwise famous people who have died or had been killed over the years... and yes, Jim Henson is included in the book.
I don't know if it was a favorite of mine, but I do remember watching it and enjoying it nonetheless (probably because of Doug creator Jim Jinkins created this show as well).
The Noodle Dance was certainly a memorable little tune, it's a wonder THAT hasn't become a meme... or maybe it has, and...
It could possibly be considering both of the Cars movies weren't necessarily Disney/Pixar's best, that they felt to have a Cars 2 posted hidden in the movie was too great an insult, or simply the idea of Disney having to cross-promote another project of theirs in a Muppet movie, I don't know.
All this talk of picturing what others look like, I used to have this ability to almost correctly guess what someone looked like, even if they've never given any kind of description... I don't give it that much thought anymore, but it's like 7 or 8 out of 10 times, I get pretty close guesses.
It's certainly turning out to be a lot worse than 2008... I mean we lost a BUNCH on 2008: Heath Ledger, Paul Newman, Bo Diddely, George Carlin, Bernic Mac, Eartha Kitt, Don Fontaine (that guy who did all those movie trailer voice overs), Isaac Hayes, among others that year, but look at who we've...
