    Janice's lifestyle

Yes, I believe the character was supposed to be a likeness of Mick Jagger, but I believe the design and the puppet ended up looking TOO femine, so they instead made the character female and named her after Janis Joplin. I wouldn't swear to it, but that's what I recall... I'm sure Muppet Wiki can...

    Questions about anything

Why is the whole Occupy movement STILL going on? Don't these people realize that after nearly a year, it's accomplished nothing? Are they seriously going to just keep protesting until these Wall Street tycoons just throw bags of money out their windows or something? That ain't gonna happen.

    Sony's repackaged Muppet DVDs

Those appear to be European releases, or some other region outside of North America: the triangle with the U in it is a dead give away, as U in other countries is the same as our G rating.

    Palisades-style Hanna-Barbera figures

Well, isn't that like how they keep cranking out these shows like The Chew or The Talk or other knock-offs when nobody even watches The View anymore? Or like how nobody like the Kardashians or the Palins or the Jersey people, yet they still keep getting more reality shows and spin-offs?

    Dragon*Con 2012: My Muppet Experience

I'm sorry, but Muppets and anime conventions don't mix... that's a deadly combination right there, worlds will be colliding.

Question about Matt Vogel's Count performance

My assumption is that perhaps Matt's Count laughter was so sudden and so unexpected that it's making it difficult for anyone to remember exactly where it is from.

Question about Matt Vogel's Count performance

People seem to be having trouble identifying those specifics right now.

    Palisades-style Hanna-Barbera figures

If I still had that crazy collector streak in me, I would certainly be tempted to buy up a lot of this stuff, but again, once I got older, I just lost that... I think it's because I've had to learn not to get too attached over materialistic things or anything, because eventually, it's all going...

Who exactly is that lady cat character? I see stuff with her all over dA (and yes, a number of it naughty), but I don't know who she is.

    How can someone hate Elmo?

*Sigh* I guess even Sesame Street is inpenetrable from the world of crappy musical series like Glee and Smash...

    Palisades-style Hanna-Barbera figures

I managed to grab the first issue of the comic books, when I found a back-issue of it at a comic book store somewhere in another part of town... that was the only issue they had though, I think there were only six or seven issues in the series. One year in school, I had a binder with various...

    How can someone hate Elmo?

Wait a minute... I thought Elmo the Musical was just a one-shot bit, you mean to tell me it's going to be a recurring segment? Oh God help us...

Noticing New Things in "Follow That Bird"

This is similar to the thread for noticing new things while rewatching TMM, because in rewatching FTB, there's a few minor things I hadn't noticed before until recently, especially with the 25th anniversary edition DVD: In the long shot as we see, from Ernie and Bert's perspective, moving in...

I've seen some officially licensed plushes of Rocko and Heffer pop up on eBay from time to time... they looked kind of off though... EDIT: Well gee, look what Google turned up... some of this stuff looks awesome...

No Day But Today- "Breaking Through Is Hard To Do"

I was really disappointed that the series was canceled before the finale was posted... it's a shame that those lost episodes are long gone now, maybe someday in the future you could re-write them to the best of your memory? I remember I had to re-write an entire season of T*K*O after a lightning...

The "Have You Ever Wondered..." Thread

One thing I've been wondering is this... If you lose an appendage, it won't grow back. If you lose a tooth, it won't grow back (unless it's a baby tooth you lost, then grew in a bigger one). If you lose an arm, a leg, a finger, a toe, they won't grow back. So how is it if you completely pluck...

    How can someone hate Elmo?

Well, Kevin has built himself quite an empire, not just from performing Elmo (although that does have a lot to do with it), but he's also very involved with SST behind the scenes as well, producing and directing quite a bit... then again, a number of the Muppeteers have also been involved behind...
