BOO! The "What Scared You Today?" Thread

It seems like whenever these comedians start their own production companies, they just keep cranking out the same ol' lowbrow, mindless kind of junk over and over and over and over again.

    Questions about anything

I recall in one earlier episode of I Love Lucy, Lucy miscounts the number of states there are, but then tries to justify her mistake by saying, "Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about Alaska and Hawaii". Wasn't this before Alaska and Hawaii were included in the Union though? I know Lucy was on from...

    When you need to rant...

Yep. Like creator Larry Gelbart said, "I think she went to bed for us all." XD

    When you need to rant...

Similar case with M*A*S*H: no one watched the first season during it's initial airing because they were all watching other shows, then when they showed it again during the summer repeats, people took notice, and it jumped from like #55 in the Nielsen ratings to #2 (that and apparently the wife...

    When you need to rant...

Because it's no longer about quality, it's about money: if a show makes money, they're going to keep cranking it out, otherwise, it'll be canceled after they only air like two episodes. I'm not usually one to boast about myself, but seriously, I can write better than most writers in TV day...

Is that that new gay show created by the gay guy who created Glee?

    The Official Top 10 Anything...

Actually, you know what? I think I'll substract Theodore Shapiro, bump everyone from Hans Zimmer down a level, and add John Debney to the list.

The "Have You Ever Wondered..." Thread

Ah, the old, "Woops, I got pregnant, so now I'll get married to my baby's daddy to right the wrong" gesture. Classic.

You Ever Notice...and What's the Deal...

Okay, here's one that's more Seinfeld-esque, and please forgive me if I seem to come off as sexist or offensive... But have you ever notice that it seems like the less attractive a woman is, the more vain she is? I mean, vanity seems to be that one deadly sin that runs rampant in almost all...

The "Have You Ever Wondered..." Thread

Maybe it's just me, but has anyone wondered what happened to Adele? We were hearing her ALL THE TIME for a while there on the radio, you probably heard both "We Could've Had it All" and "Someone Like You" multiple times a week, and of course, she was always at these music award shows, usually...

    The Official Top 10 Anything...

I had no idea that music was broken into two categories: Weird Al Songs and Non-Weird Al Songs. XD I'm not usually one for pop myself, but I've noticed more recent pop songs are a lot better than, say, pop songs of the 90s or 2000s, or at least in my opinion, so I think I'll TRY to come up...

    Top Annoying Misnaming People Do

When I saw the movie in the theater, that actually was the biggest laugh the movie got, as soon as we saw Jim Parsons, everybody started laughing, and whooping, and clapping, etc. But as I've said in my previous reviews, I didn't think the songs in this movie were the best: Muppet movies tend...
