Actually, here's another one today..
So, I remember earlier in the year, one of the worst-looking movies this year was 1000 Words... I mean really, it just SCREAMED bottom of the Hollywood barrel, but I guess it must have been even worse than any of us could imagine, because it's ALREADY on...
Yeah, I remember one time I was microwaving some fish sticks... I followed the instructions on the box EXACTLY, and the next thing I new, smoke was billowing out of the microwave, and I found some little black things lying on a ceramic plate that had cracked completely in half.
Gah! I hate those comments! Not necessarily Glee (I haven't come across those yet luckily), but like "Family Guy brought me here!" You obviously don't get out much if you have to find out something exists through Family Guy.
My dad was watching a golf game on TV today, and it had a surprisingly loud audience, for a golf game... in fact, at one point, the ball ended up a few inches away from the hole, and the crowd watching was like, "WWWWWWHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOAAAA!!!"
I'd have Elizabeth Montgomery and Barbara Eden on my list.
If I could think up a list for the top ten actresses who have aged really, really well, Sally Field, Barbara Eden, and Lindsey Wagner would top that list.
I haven't had a reason to watch CN in YEARS (I was among those who were alienated by its extreme makeover back in 2004), so I didn't find out about this until last night, while checking the cable listings to find something to watch since World's Dumbest on Friday nights on truTV had been...
Christmas Story is one really weird and trippy movie... you have to watch it like a bazillion times in order to "get it", and even then, there's still a lot that doesn't make sense (like when Ralphie finally snaps and beats up the bully, why does the bully's nose start bleeding when Ralphie was...
Apparently everyone else on MC says it's the worst Will Ferrell movie there is, but I COMPLETELY disagree, I think it's the ONLY Will Ferrell movie that's actually watchable, because for once, he plays against type, and instead of playing a one-dimensional sketch character, he actually plays a...
In that someone's defense, FR was not as widely seen as other Muppet productions: it's first run was on HBO, back when cable was still relatively new, and not a lot of people had it; also, FR hasn't gotten a whole lot of love in reruns, so to this day, it wouldn't surprise me if a lot of people...
I've never experienced that for real (aside from the prank that was played on me), so I wouldn't know...
Now for something REALLY scary, I remember reading sometime back that because of global warming and climate change, VAMPIRE bat populations are slowly expanding up into the U.S.
Actually, to the best of my memory, here's my top 10 movies I like that everybody else hates (in alphabetical order):
1. The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle
2. Bee Movie
3. The Cat in the Hat
4. The Country Bears
5. Elf
6. Home Alone 3
7. Kangaroo Jack
8. Kermit's Swamp Years (I guess...
I agree, I personally loved this movie... in fact, this is definitely on my list of top 10 movies that I love that everybody else hates (yeah, I did a list like that long before Doug Walker did actually, lol).
