After watching Birdwalk Empire... SST isn't going to stop relying on chromakey anytime soon are they? It just got more and more obvious as it went on.
And, heh, I see even to this day, Frank is still relying on his Bert voice for the one-shot characters, lol.
And on that same token... what did ever happen to Toby? I seem to recall him being seen in the background a small number of times as an extra, but that's about it.
Ehh, I've had to watch Hannah Montana with my niece before... it was pretty bad... Miley isn't a very good actress: you can tell that she can tell the camera's there, because she comes off as very hammy in her performances.
As I've said before, he and he alone is why everybody loves that song. Without him, that song probably would have fell flat, and it wouldn't have been as memorable as it was.
I don't even remember Slink being on the show after Toby, but apparently he, for some reason, became a member of the Tough Customers at some point after the show had already started going down hill.
Yeah, believe me, that girl could not WAIT to tarnish her image. I'm surprised little girls across America didn't start dressing like strippers and pole dancing on top of ice cream carts because they "saw Hannah Montana do it".
As far as Don Bluth goes, I think Rock-a-Doodle is horribly under-rated; I know a lot of people say it was one of his worst (nowhere near as bad as A Troll in Central Park for sure), but I actually think it was one of his better movies.
Eh, I'm no fan of Miley either, but I at least give her the benefit of the doubt somewhat... she seems to be in better control of herself than most, she just LOOKS like she's out of it.
Wait a minute...
Is Arthur in wide screen now? Gee, can't they leave ANYTHING alone? Even Martin Scorsese is saying enough with all this digital filmmaking and stuff.
Remember when I mentioned some time back in this thread that there were fears that Amanda Bynes was on her way to becoming the next Lindsay Lohan?
Too late.
For a while there, he was performing Bert almost exclusively, but it seems that once they ressurrected the whole Grover/Mr. Johnson schtick, that that's when he started performing Grover again.
Do you think Frank has been doing these big spoofs as of late because he's been talking for quite some time about SST not being as hip and clever as it used to be back in the day? I mean, prior to the Mad Men parody, when's the last time he performed a character other than Bert, Grover, or...
Whenever female celebrities appear on talk shows or award shows or other similar appearances, and they put like layers and layers of oil all over their legs, it just looks... ick... what's the deal with that? Why do they want to make their legs look un-naturally slimy and shiny?
Sah-ree, I's a...
Actually, you know what this is starting to remind me of? Those 32-bit computer story books from the early 90s (before the TV show)... remember those? I remember in Grade 2 or so, we had "Arthur's Teacher Trouble".
You can tell it's Flash... I mean granted, it LOOKS pretty good for Flash animation (I'm wondering how they managed to pull off coloring those characters when the outlines don't even fully connect), but the characters' overall expressions and body movements are too stiff and robotic... Buster's...
Even The Great Space Coaster videos are FULL of those FG comments... unfortunately, that is somewhat justifiable, considering GSC is rather obscure, and not too many do know about it unless they watched it during its first-run in syndication, or they're really emersed into puppetry.
