Hey, man, don't be dissing my vocals. Me and the band to a lot of rehearsing and... Oh, right, the new role-play hasn't started yet. Lol.
Seriously, according to the Muppet Central outlines, Jerry uses a different voice for Floyd for those songs, because it's easier to do a bass...

I'm sorry, guys. But I've seen every show this week and haven't spotted Steve. I guess my vision's pretty bad. Lol.
So, that was Kermit who did that cackle at the end. I didn't think it sounded like him. Maybe my hearing's bad too.

I think Kermit got the most airtime in today's episode. He was sort of flirting with Charo, the Hispanic lady. Also, he was asked what 5,280 feet is the length of and he made some jokes there: He said "That's the length of my tongue. Just ask Charo" and "That's as close as Piggy is...

Let's see. I really liked that "Pig Calypaso" number from the Bob Hope episode. The "Lonely Goat" song from the Julie Andrews episode and "Crocodile Rock" from the Elton John episode were great too. There was also "Strabrough Fair" from the Paul Simon episode. The opening numbers...

I liked that French reference, because it reminded me of when he said the same thing in the Denny's commercial. Though, I don't quite get the joke. Do they really serve frog legs in France or something like that?
By the way, Emmy I liked your idea about why most Muppets are on top...

Thanks, Phil, but I know what time it's on in my area. I was just a little surprised because I didn't think any stations ran those game shows in the morning.

Is "Hollywood Squares" in the morning where you live? I get it in the evening so I'll probably have to wait for tonight's show to see the part with Kermit talking about the action figures.

By the way, Gonzo, in response to your idea about having all Muppets on the squares. I have been working on a transcript of something like that. I tried to make it so it changes from day to day. (Since the performers probably wouldn't be able to play more than one of their characters...
While we're on this subject...
I've just seen Stuart Pankin on a "Family Matters" episode. He sounds a lot like Earl Sinclair. He probably just deepens his voice to perform the character.

That's okay, Foz. I found out at Toughpigs.com that he first appeared in 1979 and was played by some guy named Brian Muehl. Martin took over in 1984.

Well, I just read at the Toughpigs site that it was Rudman. That makes more sense anyway, because didn't Eric play his mom? It would be hard for him to play both of them at the same time.

By the way does anyone happen to know how old Telly is. (Not his age on the show. I mean, how long has he been around?) I saw him in the pic on the Hooperfan page which was from 1981. So I don't know if that's when he came around or if he's older. I know Martin P. Robinson didn't...
Here's something I was wondering about. I asked this before but I didn't get a response, so I thought I'd ask it in a new thread. Isn't it David Rudman who plays Cookie Monster now instead of Eric Jacobson? That's what it says at imdb.com, so that's why I was wondering.

I think that would be a good idea. After all, the Muppets haven't been on the squares all season (Unless you count that annoying dog Triumph) so that would be a good idea. Especially, since Whoopi's no longer the center square. They could put Kermit in the center. Some other squares...

I've noticed that too. Just typing "Hooperfan" doesn't work. Let me check on something.
Ah. Here it is:
