I think you made a mistake there. Orman didn't play Gordon on the first season of Sesame Street. I take you were referring to a later season of the show or something like that.
Oh, another thing. I can't find the Sesame Street characters on the website you mentioned. Where do I click to...
Actually, I watched my tape of the special and I thought it was really good. It was nice to see all those classic skits that they haven't played in a while. (counting sketch with the baker; Kermits News Flashes, etc.) I also got a glimpse of Matt Robinson as Gordon near the end. I didn't...
Hmmm. I was worried Kevin has been so busy with Elmo lately, he forgot about Hoots. Lol. I'm glad he's still around. Maybe I should by the DVD. I also remember Captain Vegetable. That was another one of my favorites.
Yeah, I think that is the one I described. I guess I just didn't describe it very well. Lol.
Anyway, that's the one I remember seeing when I watched the show as a kid. Thanks for that info.
That sounds cool. Which version of "ABC-DEF-GHI" is it? The one where Big Bird is talking to Susan and the original Gordon about it, the one where he cleans his nest and pulls out the alphabet thing, or do they just show him singing the song?
Hmmm. Let's see there were a lot. I especially liked...
"If Moon Were Cookie." I also liked "Healthy Food" and "Me Lost Me Cookie at the Disco." (Actually, I don't think I've ever really seen that sketch, but I have the audio downloaded on my computer) Let's see what else was there...
Well, I haven't watched it yet. I was hoping to watch it with my family when I'm home during Easter break, but from what I read so far, I guess it's not too much to look forward too. I know what you mean though. I really liked the 20th anniversary special with Bill Cosby where they showed...
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Right now I'm in the Games Room computer lab and I can't play sounds on these computers. I'll have to listen when I get back to the dorm.
By the way in the movie Animal House, which was played at my dorm last night, I've noticed there was a guy in it...
No offense, but shouldn't this thread be on the "Classic Muppets" board or something rather than on the "TV appearences" board? Anyway, I agree. It would be great to see a movie or a show where an adult Skeeter shows up.
Darn. I missed it. Hopefully, I'll remember to catch Count von Count tonight. After all, he hasn't been on Sesame Street in a while, other than the "Number of the Day" segments. It would be good to see him back in the spotlight.
By the way, in response to FraglettesMom's post, I believe...
Yeah. Somebody here mentioned that most JTE segments are usually followed by Ernie and Bert skits, but I haven't seen one of those in ages (not even old, classic skits). Now it's usually just Ernie talking or singing with somebody else (like a kid or a muppet or in today's episode that actor...
