Yeah. That was probably during the pledge breaks. They must have just edited out an Ernie segment in that one ep to make room for the pledge break. Yeah, I'd like to watch the show more often, but there are a few problems. A. I live in a college dorm and it's kind of embarassing when people...
I don't remember her, but I guess I could see why she didn't last very long. I remember Bob interpreting for Linda most of the time, so that might have had something to do with it.
Actually, I glanced through the show a few times while I was on spring break and I didn't see anything with Ernie and Bert. Journey to Ernie was usually followed by Ernie talking to a kid or singing with another Muppet or something like that. I even remember seeing an ep where a JTE segment...
Are you referring to the "Best of the Muppet Show" collection from Timelife? They show three episodes per tape, not just clips, but I don't think the ep you're referring too is on any of those tapes. *sigh*
I know Kermit fires Piggy on the Loretta Swit episode. The other one, I don't know. I was just looking at it the other day on the kermitage episode guide. I think it's a season 4 episode. I'll have to check on that... Wait, I think it's Andy Williams. I'm not quite sure. I'll have to...
I agree with that. Heck, I used to have a "Muppet Kids" book called "Too Many Promises" where Kermit couldn't say no to Piggy or Fozzie. You'll have to read the book to see what I'm talking about. Anyway, I think I've just come up with an idea for a fan fiction.
I don't know about that one. In AVMMCM, it was his overexcitement that caused him to kiss Piggy. Like someone had mentioned previously, he might have kissed Rowlf if he were under the mistletoe. Lol.
About the Avery Schriber TMS ep, I'd like to have that too, but I don't trust online tape...
You must have got my e-mail. Lol. I'm glad this forum is working again. By the way, in response to Ernie's post. I also saw Scooby-Doo 2 last night. I agree it was really good. I'm also looking forward to seeing the new episode this morning. Okay. Why are we talking about Scooby on a...
I see, but still nobody answered my question about the Mr. Noodle who died. I thought he was an important part of the "Elmo's World" segment. I haven't seen that part of the show in quite a while, but wouldn't they explain Mr. Noodle's disappearance somehow?
Yeah. That is something I wonder about. They did the death thing with Mr. Hooper, but they really didn't do that with any other actors or characters. I do want to comment about a few things on that subject:
What would have happened if Matt Robinson was still playing Gordon when he died...
That was really good. I especially liked the Manhattan Melodies reference. I'm sorry that you've been feeling stressed lately, Beth. I hope things get better.
Yeah. My life would be easier if they'd put the show back on TV. I did order volume 6 from Amazon recently, so I should finally get that one around Easter. I can't order from Timelife anymore since they gave me bad credit, so even if they did release more episodes, I wouldn't be able to order...
I'm looking forward to reading more. Your story is really good. I can picture myself in Kermit's situation. He doesn't want Piggy always bothering her, yet he doesn't want to lose her. It's very touching.
Actually, I preferred Lorenzo's Peter, but Dave was great in other roles especially Joey Gladstone. I would have liked to see him impersonate Sesame Street Muppets or something like that. After all, he does a good Kermit voice.
