What I wonder about "Temptation" is why that's the only song that you hear Richard's Miss Piggy sing. I mean, he might have voiced her in other songs when there's a whole group of Muppets singing, but "Temptation" is the only one where you hear Richard's Miss Piggy voice stand out. It was said...
Yeah, this was previously discussed on another thread. I was thinking if someone like Bert or Grover saw Snuffy he could have told the others that Big Bird was telling the truth about him. Food for thought.
I guess you're right. If he really wanted to be seen, he might have stuck around for a while when people showed up. After all, it does mention how shy Snuffy is in "Sesame Encyclopedia." I guess he was much shyer back then than he is now, which is understandable. I was sort of the same way...
That might be good, but what about John Tartiagiola? Considering he voiced Ernie on the second season of "Play With Me Sesame?" I think he could give "Sesame Street" Ernie a try. After all, doesn't he already voice other random SS Muppets?
Then again, I never heard John's Ernie, so I don't...
About "We are all monsters," I have heard about Kevin dubbing over the original Elmo's lines. (I believe that was Caroll, not Brian) My question is, when Kevin did the rerecording, did he change the pronoun "I" to "Elmo?" I've read that at the lyrics archive and it doesn't sound like...
Well, thanks for posting that. I was very young when Snuffy was imaginary, so all I really remember was Big Bird telling the adults where Snuffy was and Snuffy leaving at the last second, because he thought he heard his mother calling or something like that. I really don't remember all these...
Great story! Yes, I could see Prarie fit into the story. If she's younger, maybe she could be an intern or something. I did like the "Abbott and Costello-like" routine. I also liked the "Swallow a Fly" song. That sounds like something that could really be done on a "Sesame Street" sketch.
Oh, I thought someone mentioned before that Guillame starred as Gordon in the unaired pilot before Matt Robinson took over. I guess I was mistaken there.
I agree that would have been a really good idea. They really should reconsider doing an ep like that.
One thing I've noticed about Snuffy is during the first half of the season he got quite a bit of airtime, but since the new eps started in November, he hasn't been seen at all. Doing an...
I think all the old Kermit clips went to "Plaza Sesamo."
By the way, I don't think Ernie is Steve's only character on SS. Didn't he play Dr. Feel as well?
I've often wondered who would have gotten divorced if that episode actually did air. It probably wouldn't have been Maria and Luis, since around the time they were just recently married. Susan and Gordon might have been a possibility, since Susan isn't around as much any more, but that's also...
Little Joey? I never knew that elephant was named. I was sort of expecting Fluffy too, but I guess that would have been hard to do considering only Fluffy's trunk was ever seen on the show. They needed the full-body elephant to do that trick.
Gosh. I'm a little behind. I still didn't...
"What Happens Next" comments
I realize this ep was from a few months ago, but this was the first that I saw it, so I thought I'd make a few comments here. Personally, I thought it was better than the last new one where the characters were just watching things float and slide. It seems like...
I'd like to see a 'bucket mouth' Oscar. I knew about orange Oscar and I've seen a second season picture of a bright green Oscar. I guess he went through quite a few different appearances before he looked like we know him today.
That's interesting. I didn't think those two interacted at all, except in that "pledge drive" thingee in the "Sesame Street Special."
They could have been seen together more often. Maybe they could have done a duet of "Bein' Green." Just a thought.
I have to agree with Fozzie's post about Rickey and Tyler in future productions. Nothing against Brian Henson, but his Scooter and Janice voices were quite a bit off in the Christmas movie and like I said I don't think I want to spend money on the MWOO DVD just to hear a few extra lines. I'm...
