And they don't seem to get us much airtime as I had hoped. I really can't get into the show otherwise so it's a pain to have to watch the whole thing just to wait for the Muppets to show up. It's a shame that they make a big deal of promoting the Muppet appearances, when in reality, it's not as...
Wait a minute. Snuffy's not still around. Noooooo! He was just in the alphabet scavenger hunt episode, but that was last season. Say it isn't so. Tell me Snuffy is not going back to his old "Imaginary friend" days. :(
I was wondering about that too. Yeah, things with the Muppets haven't been the same without Steve. I still can't really get used to Matt's Kermit for some reason or other.
Oh, The Muppets are on the show regularly. I thought it was just the first one. Well, no wonder I didn't see Miss Piggy or Sam in the first one even though they showed up in the ad. I guess it's one of those 'keep watching' types of deals.
No. I was referring to when the first five eps from season 1 were repeated over the summer the year they originally aired.
Good memory about the syndicated eps though. I remember they sort of did the opposite of the ones you're talking about, just skipping the "Honey, I'm home" part and just...
Yeah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembered that. I think they used it when the five original first season eps were reran and they used it for the initial airing of "When Food Goes Bad," but that's as much as I can remember of that. I'm kind of glad the DVDs just use the full opening...
Hmm. Well, if it aired on a local PBS affiliate, it may have aired on mine. I know PBS usually does the new eps (or the new to PBS eps on Monday), but "Kind Alan," might be a different story since now HBO Max is doing first-run eps. I guess worst case scenario, they'll probably play it again...
So are they going to do a Julia-centered autism awareness episode on PBS this month like they have been? I know they repeated "Match It," but that was from season 51 and I saw "A Visit to the Dentist" on You Tube, but does any one know if any season 52 eps airing on PBS this month? I haven't...
From SesmeWurkshop.com:
Season 53 will feature a new segment called, "Big Bird's Bedtime Stories," where Rudy and Abby will have a sleepover at Big Bird's nest and Big Bird will tell them stories of "Sesame Street" from back in the day with clips from earlier episodes, skietches and inserts...
Yeah. It is more entertaining when the shows have more of an ongoing plot. I could see them making another show more like the 2015 "Muppets" series, only the next one should be more family friendly.
OK. So that's why I was confused. I thought the dedication was within the episode. It probably would have made more sense to use Carroll's characters in the episode.
