I wouldn't really call this a promo for the movie. If you take away the ending tag reminding viewers to see The Muppets, this could easily be one of those muppets.com videos.
Link Hogthrob, in puppet form, wasn't used at all last decade (and in fact it seems like hardly any Muppet pigs appeared except for Miss Piggy). I wonder if the puppet was no longer usable then (I brought this up before, and someone pointed out that a Link puppet was on display in some Henson...
Well, the only other option I can think of is freezing myself until the movie's released, but I can't get anyone to test out freezing machines for me, and I can't find Beaker.
It seems animated shorts rarely get advertised with the films they come with. The academy awards have a category for best animated shorts, and they often include things I'd never heard of (though in the past years there've been many movies I hadn't heard of; I worked at a movie theater for four...
Don't know if these would count as "spoiler questions", but I'd like to know...:
Did you notice anybody from The Jim Henson Hour or Muppets Tonight who we hadn't previously spotted in the previews?
In the recreation of The Muppet Show Theme, were there still empty archs, like in all the promos...
I read a Tough Pigs article regarding a recent public appearance by Frank Oz, where he mentioned a scene cut involving a family of little people in lockers by the Muppets (they showed up at the premiere unaware they had been cut). I guess that person in the bottom locker would be a result of...
I've been watching quite a few Peanuts specials lately, and I've noticed a credit that seems amusing to me: Graphics Blandishment. Does that mean they make the graphics bland or something? And I haven't noticed such a credit outside of Peanuts specials (and Snoopy Come Home).
That was her original intended name, but the name was only mentioned in the Jim Nabors episode (briefly, and I think that mention of that name could easily be missed) and in some publications (I know she was called Miss Piggy in her first appearance, Herb Albert and the Tiajuanna Brass... Was...
I've done the five "Stars of the Muppets" fan fics I planned (the others spotlighting Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, and Animal), and I must say that for this one I probably planned on "including" the most clips that I didn't.
Some of the clips I thought about including but didn't:
Nobody
She Was a...
Would it be unrealistic if they actually planned on releasing season 4 of The Muppet Show either without announcing it until it was in stores or waiting until the week of release to announce it? I know there have been a few Sesame Street DVD releases that weren't announced in advance, though...
Is it normal for merchandise to only be announced days/weeks before release, if not unannounced until release? Action figures, DVDs, albums, books, video games, and comic books all seem to have longer gaps between being announced and being released, but what about other kinds of merchandise? The...
I've always thought that Statler had visible eyebrows, but after watching a bit closely recently, I've noticed that we seem to see a bit of eyelids above the "eyebrows". So now I wonder if those are actually eyelashes as opposed to eyebrows. And it's not often you see a male Muppet (or male...
You know, in the first issue, after Kermit does the closing number, I noticed a character backstage who looks a bit Digit-like. Robin's hand is in the way of the characters nose, but this character is green, his head shape reminds me of Digit's head shape, he looks like he's wearing a labcoat...
Uncle Deadley sounded closer to the original in that "What is a Muppet?" ad, where we just heard him say "The Muppets". But then again, that wasn't much dialogue. Here. he doesn't sound bad, but not quite like Jerry Nelson's voice. I feel he sounded more like a Bill Barretta character, or like...
Here is my last (for now, anyway) script for my series of fanfics called "The Stars of The Muppets". Maybe I'll do more after the movie comes out, but currently I don't plan to do so.
Enjoy!

Well I used a computer at the library today and was able to make an edit there, so it must be my computer. Hopefully whatever's going on will fix up soon and I'll be able to continue editing on my computer.
