It's said that Sam's speech on nudity is presented without the "I need a robe" line. That line's only included in the audio version. On the show he merely walks off-stage looking embarrassed (which we can't really see in audio-only form). In The Muppet Show Book he has the added line "I am a bird".
I think the "Muppet Barbershop Quartet" singing Smells Like Nirvanna sounds intriguing. I can't wait to see who is in the quartet (some of the most famailair characters? Generic whatnots/pigs/whatever? Hard-to-understand characters like Beaker?).
I thought I read somewhere that Kermit would sing this song in the movie. Maybe it's sung twice and only one appears on the album?
Weird Al isn't a no-talent clown. But I doubt he'd do a cover of a serious song (a parody, sure, but not a cover).
It's an original song for the movie. And according to track listings (I didn't click on the link you provided, so I'm not sure if I saw that one, but I saw other track listings) it's a song sung by Mary and Miss Piggy.
I thought I read that the movie would have new versions of many songs from...
I previously thought Kermit's "I believe in you" speech would come closer to the end, but after watching this, it looks like it might happen before the telethon, perhaps even before they can secure a deal to air the telethon.
