Oh, yeah! Wasn't that one of the original plans? Once all of The Muppet Show came out, I think they were considering a Muppets Tonight DVD. It would only need one collection, so it wouldn't be too much to put together, I wouldn't think. That'd be awesome! Say what you want, I liked Muppets...
I don't know which one I prefer, but they're both shot so beautifully.
One thing I absolutely love about the way Jim Henson films things: You can take almost any shot in Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal, and they translate beautifully into a still photograph. It really is art.
Just a few...
Yeah, I loved Miss Piggy's overall loook the best during seasons four and five of The Muppet Show. Now, there was a good lookin' pig! :flirt: I wish they'd try and go back to that look for the whole puppet, especially the hair. Then again, I'm not too fond of most modern hairstyles for women...
Thank you! I didn't draw it, my cartooning style's a bit different from that. It's some artwork from an animated Muppet series that was pitched in 2004(?). It was called "American Mayhem," and I assume it was to have been about the Electric Mayhem while Scooter was their "road manager"...
I'll agree with this, except that Last Crusade was probably my favorite.
This is actually the type of story George Lucas wanted to do with the fourth one years ago, but Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg didn't like it. It's nice to see they found something they could all work with and...
I was thinking about this recently. It's possible, but only possible, that we could be watching season five by next Fall. It was nine months between season two and season three's release, another nine months would place us at February of 2009 (I would guess they might want to release season four...
For Fraggle Rock, I'd say nothing beats Boober and Wembley. They're so great for each other.
Then again, I also like the sort of Laurel and Hardy team that Junior and Pa Gorg are.
Ruahnna,
Did you see the CW interview with Kermit and Fozzie (there's another thread about it)? I think that was a much better example of how the Kermit and Piggy thing should be.

Hey! I do that! :D
I admit to being a geek. I think the majority of hardcore Muppet fans would, at least to some degree. Though, I don't think the Muppets themselves are geeky. I mean, Gonzo's a geek. Scooter's a geek. Bunsen and Beaker are geeks. But the Electric Mayhem? They're freaks...
:o I actually hadn't seen much of The Muppet Show before the DVDs started coming out (other than on compilation videos). So, most of this is all new to me. One exception would be the complete season one, which I got in a trade before it was ever announced to come on DVD. I'm keeping them (or at...
I do like American Dad better. It seems to still have it's head on it's shoulders, for the most part (I can't say for sure, I haven't seen all that much of it, though).
Once in a while I find Family Guy funny, it still seems to stick to it's randomness and pop culture references, but...
Well, I don't think Kermit should be a player. I do like the relationship to a degree (it can be cute), it just seems overplayed (in either way, sometimes). Too much Kermit and Piggy mushy-mushiness is not good, in my opinion. Too much of the opposite isn't so great either. That's why I liked...
Actually, there are at least two Fozzie puppets used during season two (I actually think there might be three). I don't remember which it is, but there are occasions in season 2 where two very different Fozze Bear puppets are used within the same episode! Then in the Edgar Bergen episode, when...
Well, well, well, where to begin? First, Steve Whitmire and the rest of the Muppet performers seem far from clueless in my opinion. The interviews with Kermit and Fozzie were fairly clever. I enjoyed them, anyway.
Second, Family Guy is FAR from clever. It's just a string of random jokes and...
I could see something happening where the Fraggles step out into the real world, sort of see what kind of a mess it's in, and learning from it for themselves. Perhaps it starts out with the Fraggle five having some sort of conflict, they head out into the real world, and see what they're doing...
