Kermit wasn't made of Antron fleece until more recently. I know on the muppet show he's much more traditional material, possibly just the fleece you'd find in the fabric store. In fact sometimes it appeared very pilled. I would say, if this is your first attempt, why not start with traditional...
They don't bother me. It's analyzing how performers deal with the limitations of their medium that makes it so fascinating. When I was growing up, sure I noticed the arm rods, or how the Count or Ernie's sleeves would continue going past his elbow beneath the stage, but who cares? All that did...
I meant to post it at the time but got sidetracked. My daughter and I attended a Puppet Show by Swazzle some months ago and we really enjoyed it. We saw "Hazel and the Dragon" and were very impressed. As lifelong a puppet fan as I am, I don't think I ever really saw a live puppet show outside of...
Not a bad puppet at all. Especially somebody as complex in design as Sebastian. I love your Big Bad Wolf puppet too. That's a character I mean to tackle someday.
Yeah I got a notice that the auction had been cancelled and my bid as well. I wasn't the highest bidder but when I checked the bid history the reason that the highest bidder cancelled his bid was "I didn't want the item anymore". Can you do that? What the heck kinda auction let's you do that...

Does anyone remember seeing them on Mister Rogers like I do? Man that's a great memory. The puppets had (and still do) have such a psychedelic 70's look to them. Nice to see they're still around.
nevermind found the old post. Good job. Yeah you practically gave that thing away. Don't forget that regardless of what the materials cost, they should be paying for your time and talent. Paper only costs a fraction of a dollar but a beautiful drawing can be priceless. Good job!
Gee, wish I had read the other posts before I posted exactly what was said before. Oh well, at least someone else does it the same way I do- and Ravage Frackle no less. I'm honored :)
I went down to the craft store and buoght an unfinished wooden plaque (don't know what they'e for but they look like you're supposed to paint some quaint saying on them, "Home is where the heart is" etc... and hang em on your wall) and a nice thick wooden dowel, the thickest they have available...
Watching the lame Pepe extra about Miss Piggy on the new release of Muppet Caper and it looks to me like the Piggy that appears with Pepe is now covered in Fleece, instead of being flocked foam. Can anyone confirm this? It didn't change the overall look too much, but did alter the way the mouth...

Former Disney Imagineer and Henson veteran Terri Hardin is going to be hosting a puppet workshop this Sunday down in Anaheim. Sounds pretty rudimentary but Terri's very nice and I'm sure she'll probably be answering questions too.
