Thanks Count! Yeah that sounds really familiar. Man as much as the Count scared me, I don't think I would have taken that job if I were Ernie. Anyone seen that sketch online?
Was there another Count sketch with a physical altercation? I seem to remember the Count physically wrestling with either Bert or Ernie as they tried to stop him from whatever he was doing. I remember how his voice was so much scarier- he kind of hissed. Thanks for all this info guys.
I also...
I just discovered the wonderful world of Sesame Street on Youtube, and am in heaven. I thought I had such a great memory but I'm surprised how many clips I'm finding that I'd long forgotten. What great Stuff! Anyway, I am trying to find 2 clips, both of which I am a bit hazy about:
1)Ernie...
Yes she does look mad, more mad than cross eyed to me. If you really want her cross eyed, but not mad, you can move the pupils down a bit, lower on the eye, but still keep them hugging that inner edge of the eyes. The other option is to change the eyelid so that it's not so close to the pupil...
Yeah not only pointed but angular. There's a subtle curve from teh corners of Kermit's mouth to the front of his mouth. That one looks like there's just a straight line between these points. Perhaps he's already improved upon it and is selling the old one.. :)
I love how half of the rip off Calvin window decals you see are Calvin praying in front of a cross. WWJD? Certainly not commit copyright infringment.
Great Hobbes Mia!
Great job as always Keeeermit. He's got a really interesting facial shape. At first it looks typical btu then I noticed that he's got some ridges and folds that are unique. Great for a monster. Keep it up!
Or is anyone else like me, just collecting professional style puppets with no real reason- I just love em. I mean I've toyed around with puppetry but already have a dream job (admittedly still in development) and have no real intention of pursuing puppetry. Anyone else?
Thanks for the tips everyone. Well, the pictures are pretty blurry, so I think the seams are more noticeable than everyone realizes, but I'm sure they're not a big deal, simply something I was curious to try and fix.
Just so there's no confusion, I didn't build this puppet. It's from...
Here are the only photos I have of him. http://albums.photo.epson.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=4153099&a=31938951&p=73062401 Yeah you can't quite tell in these. I do know that even if I pick the fleece out a little, tehre will be a noticeable "hump" where the seam is. But I figure every littlee bit helps...
From what I have gleaned from past threads, the real secret to the seamless look with Antron fleece, isn't necessarily the stitch used, but using the fleece's individual hairs to hide the seam. I've got a great puppet made of Antron, btu my one complaint is that the seams show. Can anyone...
This eyebrow mechanism shown is one of the simplest to do, yet very effective. It's basically a simple loop, not necessarily a circle, but a loop. One half is inside the puppet and operates as the control, and one half is on the outside, covered in whatever material you make the eyelids out of...
